Scotti Bishop - Business
The decision to become a rapper in 2017’s all but watered-down state of hip hop, is often followed by a stream of trolls, eye rolling, and fake positivity from pretty much anyone who has an opinion and internet access. That being said, the decision to drop of school to pursue a career in rap is likely to make that stream exponentially worse and leave friends and family scratching their heads. Yuba City native (and college dropout) Scotti Bishop address some of the backlash he’s received from his ambitious decisions in his new single “Business.” The Canis Major produced track features Scotti aggressively scolding his critics over some “head in the clouds” type of melodies’ provided by Major, taking the song in opposite directions while still maintaining a consistent tone throughout.
