Karim Tanoé makes us ‘Feel Away’ in “Evaporated People”

May 14, 2018 by Guest User

Last week, Karim Tanoé made us dance with his track “Eros Murmur”, and this week he gets more introspective with “Evaporated People”. The track, which is the fourth installment off his conceptual mixtape The Next Step that is being released one song at a time, takes a deep philosophical turn. The album is Karim’s personal documentation of the inner struggle between the realist and the dreamer, and the realist takes center stage on this one. The track’s lyrical content documents the uncertainties that a student experiences upon graduation, touching upon the themes of alienation and social status. The dreamer makes his appearance in the latter half of the song, bringing hope to a realist on the brink of despair. “Evaporated People” is yet another highlight of the collection so far and beautifully captures the conceptual nature of the mixtape.
