JOHN.k - "OT"
With depth that accompanies wisdom, the grit of anxiety and influences of yesteryear’s troubadours, enter JOHN.k: a singer-songwriter whose artistry spins on a luminous axis of voice and soul. Following his debut single, "Runnin," which premiered on NYLON in tandem with Spotify's coveted New Music Friday, JOHN.k teamed up with Mad Decent-signed and Grammy Award Winning producer Ricky Remedy and lent his vocals to the EDM-driven “Gold.” The song premiered on HuffPost with backing support from Diplo & Friends and Spinning Records Top 100, and showcases the best of both worlds: JOHN.k's chilling harmonies and gospel undertones propelled by Remedy's lush, electronic instrumentation and crisp sound.
Returning with his second original release, and 1M streams later, JOHN.k delivers the perfect end-of-Summer anthem in “OT” (overtime). A work ethic with ample payoff for whoever is on the receiving end of his soul-pop croon.
“OT is just the vibe! After making a couple darker tracks, I wanted to put something out that leaned more pop. Something brighter. Something totally different in contrast that didn't try too hard and could slideee right in at the end of the summer.
All of us have met someone that we wish we could spend one more day with. Maybe someone who has to go back to their normal life on the other side of the country. OT is about meeting someone from out of town and convincing them to stay for a little bit longer.“ - JOHN.k

Because we cannot be scared to stand tall and against life, and human kind because if every one had did this, none of us of us would be alive. The world is what it is because of risk takers.

Matt Allen - "Last Time"
Smooth, soulful and sensitive, Matt Allen is a blend between old and new R&B, drawing on influences from Stevie Wonder and Donny Hathaway to Justin Timberlake and Allen Stone. He has been singing since he could speak and having already spent well over a decade on the live scene, Matt is one of Perth’s most sought after male vocalists.
In 2010, he wrote and recorded his debut album, Over. The album’s title track received 8th place in the prestigious 2012 Australian Songwriting Awards, whilst the lead tune, Stay The Night was awarded a Runner Up in the 2012 International Song Contest.
He has currently just released his follow up EP Last Time, which can be described as smooth and soulful R&B/pop.
Last Time is a mid tempo, emotional and dynamic R&B song. The song is about feeling like you can’t help someone who you love get through a tough time. It’s about that feeling of helplessness but also to let the person know that you are there for them. “I feel like everyone has been in that situation, and of course the context may be different, but the feeling is the same. It’s not ‘sad’ but it’s definitely emotional”.
Last Time was produced by Josh Dyson from Villanova Music, Perth. It was recorded at RADA Studios, Perth by Kieran Kenderessy. Featuring musicians; Harry Winton on guitar, Josh Dyson on Bass, Elliot Smith on Drums, Chris Travaglini on keys, Harry Mitchell on keys.
“This song means a lot to me. It’s one of the most personal songs I’ve ever written. I wanted the song to have a sense of timelessness, so I really wanted it to be played by a live band. There’s nothing quite like the dynamics of live musicians and because of the emotional journey in this song, I didn’t think any other type of production could relay it better and the band absolutely smashed it.” - Matt Allen
Aside from being a solo artist, Matt is also the director and founder of the WAAPA Gospel Choir who have worked with the likes of hip hop giants Drapht and Coin Banks (plus some exciting future prospects currently in the works). Matt personally collaborated with Coin Banks in writing the chorus of his new single ‘Forgive Us’ which has been receiving a load of airplay on Triple J and other stations nationally.
‘Last Time’ by MATT ALLEN is out now via digital stores.

Six months ago, Gold/Shade started his journey with the release of ‘My Muse’ and it’s been a crazy ride ever since. A ride that will reach its pinnacle next month, with the release of his debut album ‘Halcyon’.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves and first get to the Lighthouse. Which is also the name the name of his new single. A song with a hook that shines so bright, the lyrics will be burned into your memory after just one listen. And never ever leave. Ever. Which isn’t half as creepy as you might think.
No really, Lighthouse might be the sweetest song ever written about nautical equipment. So, let this song be your beacon for the coming months and just follow the Light. House.

Lady Tee The Difference - "I Aint Yo Bitch"
Once again, Lady Tee The Difference, proves to us, that she's just that - THE DIFFERENCE.
Despite the over-glorified acceptance of women being referred to as bitches, in her newest single, "I AINT YO BITCH", Lady Tee makes it extremely clear, that regardless of what you see or hear on tv or social media, she AINT YO BITCH!!
Line for line, she schools the listener on how she was raised with class and demands respect, and in her exact words - "No matter how you try to say it, I'ma take offense. Aint NO COMPLIMENT in calling me a bitch!"
Not only is she making a statement on how to personally address her, but she's also making a statement as to how all women should be respected.
With a message like this, paired with a heavy hitting Westcoast track produced by Ayiro, this song is definitely destined to be a women's anthem.

Andy Gruhin - "Attitude"
Deep within the maze of buzzing lights and marble-polished history, Washington D.C.’s stitched-together corridors have always been the dwelling for raw, primordial music energy. While the city’s identity has been perpetually confused by politics, it’s soul endures the change. Andy Gruhin, as a veteran singer-songwriter and producer, has weathered powerful change just as his city has.
During his rise through the ranks of alternative-indie rock under Sony ATV and Hollywood Records early in his career, Gruhin’s ability as a musician had quickly intensified alongside legendary collaborators, among them Spencer Sotelo (Periphery, From First To Last), Travis Orbin (Darkest Hour), and AJ Perdomo (The Dangerous Summer). In Andy’s progression, his experimental electronic project Fight Night also saw heavy-hitting collaborators from D.C. transplants Imad Royal, Alex Young, and designer Chadwickmak. His escalating efforts in music have received praise from a panoramic source of outlets, among them Indie Shuffle, Your EDM, Tilt Magazine and The Verge.
After a long hiatus from a journey to self-discovery, Gruhin’s edge is back and sharper than ever before. Recently signing with Sony’s newly-supercharged distributor, The Orchard, Andy’s latest project is written, composed, and produced entirely by himself. Debuting first off his upcoming Matisse-inspired full-length album entitled “Painting With Scissors”, Gruhin’s forthcoming single “Attitude” embodies the reflective spirit of change, conflict and the future as we want it.
Catch Andy Gruhin’s forthcoming single, “Attitude” as it premieres September 1st, 2017.
