Matthew Jared - "Faces"
““Faces” is probably one of the most descriptive songs I’ve ever written about dating. I think a pain-point we all feel about this area is getting past the facades of the other person and getting to the heart of who that person really is. In this song, I talk about a confusion situation I was recently in and... well, you’ll see how that all went when you hear this song. This track is a vocal-forward, simplistic take on R&B. It’s a good vibe with meaningful lyrics — perfect for a car ride. I hope you enjoy!”

KC Collins Premieres Debut Single and Music Video for “Girl Where You Been?”
KC Collins can now add musician to his long list of talents and achievements. The noted screen and voice actor currently starring in The Strain on the FX Network, has just crossed over to music with the release of his debut single “Girl Where You Been?”. The track has elements of dubstep, reggae, and R&B, and features artist Olaf Blackwood. The contrast between the two’s alternating vocals make for an incredibly pleasant listening experience, which is complimented through the track’s instrumentation and beat.
The track is the first in what KC has titled The Mood Project. This upcoming project will be a compilation of songs, each a representation of a select human emotion. This track’s mood is ‘romance’, which is evident in its lyrics and accompanying music video. The lyrics center around the object of KC’s desire, with him repeating the chorus “girl, where you been? Everyday without you is like a sin”. The song is about missing the one you love, even when you’re apart for just a short time.
The music video brings the track to life, with scenes between KC and a woman highlighting the lyrical theme. The color red is used to relate to the mood and theme of romance in the track. Both the track and the video are well produced and serve as the perfect introduction to KC Collins, the music artist. This track is a promising debut for a versatile artist who has demonstrated his talents in various other fields. We look forward to hearing and seeing the follow-up to this track and how it fits into his Mood Project theme. Follow KC on Instagram and Twitter to keep up with future releases.
Airplane James feat. Problem - "Fact Check"
The time has come to take flight with two of LA’s fastest rising young stars: Airplane James and Joog FTR, who just released their new project “Say It Aint So Vol. 1.”
The Diamond Lane Music Group rapper has been killing it all year, dropping banger after banger (“5 FT,” “All Mine”) to get the people ready for the start of Plane Season. The team up with Joog FTR made perfect sense, since he’s been just as hot on the production side as part of the HitMob, collaborating with the likes of 03 Greedo, Shoreline Mafia, Drakeo and many more.
Backed by two powerhouses in Diamond Lane and R•Baron, the rapper/producer duo exhibit excellent chemistry throughout the project. They’ve just dropped a brand new video for the first single “Bring My Sh*t Back” exclusively on #IGTV (Instagram TV) to celebrate its release.
The past year has seen both artists significantly raise their profiles and “Say It Aint So Vol. 1” makes it clear that their not stopping until they reach the top. The 7-track project includes just two features in Problem and T Swish, with Airplane James using the rest of the project to assert his lyrical and artistic prowess over Joog FTR’s timeless production.
The project is available now on all streaming platforms.
EMBRZ - ‘Like It Or Not’ feat joan (JNTHN STEIN remix)
Rising Irish electronic producer EMBRZ (Jack Casey) offers up thumping JNTHN STEIN remix of his new track ‘Like It Or Not’ featuring US retro-pop duo joan out now via Ultra Music.
Jack says: 'Was so cool to have JNTHN STEIN remix 'Like it or Not', he's such a sick producer! Loved that he switched up the feel of the original and gave it some attitude and punch smashed it!’
He goes on to add: "This was a fun song to make! It started out as just some chords I wrote on the guitar, a rough vocal melody, and it just kept evolving. I wanted to make something upbeat, something that felt like it belonged to the summer. I had always been a fan of joan, so it was great to collaborate with them on this tune. They smashed it!”
Epic, swooning and emotive, ‘Like It Or Not’ is the highly anticipated follow up to his recent single ‘Close 2 U’ featuring Aussie new comer Harvie and debut EP ‘Progress’ released in 2017, which caught the attention of tastemaker press like Clash, This Song Is Sick and Wonderland, describing ‘Heartlines’ as “destined to be your go-to song to listen to as the sun sets on warm summer nights.”
Over the few short years that Jack has been producing music as EMBRZ, he’s notched up an impressive tally of achievements, remixing Ellie Goulding’s “How Long Will I Love You” (currently on over 6.6 million plays) and then The 1975’s “Settle Down” (currently on 3 million) the following year. Continuing that run, last year Jack turned out a stunning, blissful remix of Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Run Away With Me” - a remix so good her label couldn’t say yes fast enough and which ultimately became the official remix for the track. Since then, he’s been uploading a steady stream of tracks and Hype Machine #1’s, including well-received cuts like “Home”, “Lights” and then “Breathe” last year.
‘Like It Or Not’ will be available digitally via Ultra Music

Wallahi G - "Pull Up"
“I threw a house party, woke up with women next to me and wrote this song while they were cooking breakfast.. enjoy.”
Charles Edison - "My Mother"
“My Mum left when I was a baby, I was raised by my Step Mum. This song is about our difficult relationship over the last few years and how I see her as...My Mother.”
Juan Donovan - "Roses" (feat. Adria Jenée x KenTheMan)
“Hello, my name is Juan Donovan and I am a producer/DJ from Baltimore, Maryland. I have just released my debut project, an Alternative R&B/Electronic album called “Merlot & Marijuana”. This is my official single called “Roses”. A slick hard hitting track with vintage guitar plucks and smooth filtered bass featuring up & coming songstress Adria Jenee and female rapper KenTheMan.”
Sasha Keable - "That's The Shit"
At just 24 years old, South-London native Sasha Keable is a breath of fresh air. Returning today after a four-year hiatus, the songstress has unveiled her outstanding new offering ‘That’s The Shit’.
Sasha’s remarkable song-writing has certainly gained perspective in the last four years – her lyrics always seem to be either asking or answering questions. This idea of pretending to be something you’re not is a topic she tackles on her release today. Packed with jazz inflections, fluttering melodies and pitch shifted guitars, the track is led by Sasha’s brassy vocals that unpack all the different types of fronts people put on for others.
"‘That’s The Shit’ was written over three years ago with a producer called Prgrshn. It’s a bit of a piss take to all the men who go to clubs to buy bottles with money they don’t really have and the women who hover around them just to get a few drinks or a shag....!" – Sasha says of the record.
Keable was raised on Soul and Hip Hop, with some of her main influences being Donny Hathaway, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and Lauryn Hill and her eclectic tastes manifest themselves in her song writing and arrangements.
Although, she may seem a new face to some, she's no stranger to success and working hard. In the time since she first picked up a mic she’s dropped a scattering of releases – from 2013’s dream ‘Black Book’ to 2014’s gorgeously understated 4-track EP ‘Lemongrass & Limeleaves’ however, 2018 will see Sasha stand at the forefront of London’s young and fiendishly talented singer/songwriters with a collaborative ethic and Brit school pedigree.
