EyeOnEyez and Gucci Mane Keep You Warm This Winter with "Polar Bear"
Producer EyeonEyez connects with The Trapgod himself Gucci Mane for the new single "Polar Bear".
One thing is for sure is that winter is coming and it's going to be a cold one. And as Mysterious Producer EyeOnEyez teases on his instagram, "Keep Calm, Stay Warm EyeOnEyez Heat is Coming!"
He wasn't joking.
Today, EyeOnEyez teams up with the Trap God himself, Gucci Mane, to drop "Polar Bear" a slamming trap beat that guarantees sure to keep your ears cozy and warm better than any pair of ear muffs.
Gucci Mane talks some realness about his humble beginnings and rise to fame and fortune. From "I'm a murderer but I'm not going to hell" and "I was a young fella picking up game from the old players. Fronted me ten square, now I'm a millionaire"...
EyeOnEyez speaks briefly on how the collaboration happened:
"Yea we actually made this like last minute. We had worked a few months before on a major Rick Ross / Gucci Mane Collab called Overdose and it came out really good. And I just so happened to be in Miami and Gucci had just moved there and we met up at DJ Khaled's studio and the song was written in like 20 minutes. Next thing I know, and without warning -- I turn around and Gucci Mane is getting his haircut right there in the studio."
Gucci Mane takes his haircuts SERIOUS.
Mysterious and original, masked musician EyeOnEyez burst onto the scene with a fresh new sound that's aggressive yet cerebral and haunting at the same time. A lot is yet to be learned about this figure EyeOnEyez, but his artistry and ability to bring hot new artists together with rap legends is something the industry has been craving for a while.
One can only assume he has spent years underground crafting his unique style of sound, informed by an eclectic taste in jazz, electronica, trap and hardcore hip hop. His aggressive production and infectious rhythmic style deliver a visceral listening experience with every track.
In 2017, Eyez and his team connected with Hip Hop Legend Prodigy to record “Out Queens.” Sadly, Prodigy passed prematurely soon after. Just like his other work, this final track “Out Queens” utilizes EyeOnEyez signature sound: lush synths, haunting melodies, kamikaze trap drums and melt-your-face-off 808’s.
EyeOnEyez teases a full length album featuring Wu Tang Clan, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, as well as a few up and coming artists from his own label.
EyeOnEyez draws on his vast and deep musical influences and voracious trap-inspired drum sound to deliver an aural landscape that transports you to another world. Power producer and label boss, EyeOnEyez cuts through the noise like a laser beam, combining his unstoppable instinct for innovation with one-of-a-kind sound design and otherworldly visual imagery.

Armanie - "Bullshit"
'Bullshit' Armanie is a 24 year old, self taught singer and songwriter. Her music is inspired by real life events and a pleasure in helping others who may be going through similar situations. 'Bullshit' is her latest single.
Although all of Armanie's prior songs were written about things from her perspective, she decided to try something new this time around and wrote this song through someone else's eyes.
Armanie explained it plain and simple. "I have a friend who was going through it with her boyfriend. So she decided to play his game and have a side dude. But that side dude caught feelings and couldn't stay in his lane anymore. This song is for him or anyone in his same position."
TJ & DJ Paimon - "Don't Need You/ Need More"
Midwest R&B vocalist TJ links up with Midwest Producer DJ Paimon to make an EP of R&B infused hip hop club bangers over hard hitting trap beats. This song transitions from a Trap Club anthem into a darker slow R&B track midway through the song to provide different layers of the same theme.
Dane - "You Special"
“This Song came from a longing to appreciate our women for how special each and everyone is. It combines Caribbean vibes with R&B emotion. It also make for a great summer smasher.”
Lucinda Belle - "Baby Don't Cry"
The next British Invasion has arrived with unique Jazz-Pop Singer/Songwriter Lucinda Belle. After several years of wooing the United Kingdom, releasing her first album with Island Records she is now coming to the USA to launch her second album and collaborate with the musical community here. Bringing the elegance of old school classic Hollywood with smoky jazz-noir rhythms ala Amy Winehouse meets Peggy Lee but with a modern and upbeat twist, Jazz Harp! .
Considered a child prodigy at the harp, it was expected that Lucinda would continue on to have a successful career in classical music. Instead, she absorbed influences from countless types of music, from classical to jazz, pop to hip hop, blues to reggae, and created a sound that is entirely her own. She was running a successful laundry business in London when Decca Records first approached her with a record deal. Belle sold the laundry, and chased her dream. That dream has recently brought her to the shores of California and in October Lucinda released her EP entitled Urban Lullabies, a collection of covers featuring re-imaginings of classics by Nirvana, T.I., John Mayer and Paolo Nutini.
Lucinda's music will transport you to a seductive and anachronistic world where jazz, soul, gypsy jazz, blues, and reggae meld together creating her unique eclectic sound.
Lucinda has worked with a myriad of iconic musicians throughout her career. A select cross-section of her studio and stage collaborations include Annie Lennox, The Pet Shop Boys, Robbie Williams, Natalie Cole, Rufus Wainwright, Yes, Seal, Grace Jones, and Jamiroquai. Other collaborations with producers include Raphael Saadiq, Mark Batson (Beyoncé), The Bullits featuring Jay Electronica, Jay Z, and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
Her energy and skill as an entertainer has earned her awards which include an Oscar nomination in 2015 for Best Song with "Going Nowhere" in the film For No Good Reason (Johnny Depp). She also landed a role performing as 'Dixie Darling' with the Punch Drunk Theatre Company in their world-renowned immersion play The Drowned Man, as well as making cameo appearances in the New York production of Sleep No More.
Lucinda is one of those timeless rebels, unafraid to challenge the boundaries of what is possible; unashamedly paving the way through her artistry with an authentic connection to all she does. Her music and is truly like no one else you've ever seen or heard.
In the coming year, Lucinda will be releasing her album Think Big : Like Me which reaffirms her unique perspective of what can be done with the harp. She is also working on new collaborations (surprises) to be released later in the year... and is sharing more of her story and approach by giving Keynotes.

ALBUM REVIEW: She Knows - Mena →
Louisiana based singer-songwriter Mena just released She Knows, a sophisticated blend of jazz and soul. The EP includes four tracks; “She Knows”, “Want Me”, “Hand In Hand”, and “Us Two”.
Fusing gospel, Hip-Hop, jazz, and R&B with fine artistry, Mena juggles effortlessly with various subtle genre nuances. A latin infused bossa-nova feel for the introductory track “She Knows”, followed by a modern groove in “Want Me”. “Hand In Hand” and “Us Two” follow more traditional jazz patterns, directly inspired by the famous New Orleans’ swing, with an added french touch at the end of “Us Two”.
Partnering up with the legendary Carlos Stephens from New Orleans, Louisiana, who’s produced artists such as Snoop Dogg and Soulja Slim just to name a few, Mena delivers an outstanding performance in all four tracks of the EP. This album introduces us to this strong yet extremely smooth voiced songstress’ rich vocal tones, distilling a laid back feeling with a deep vibe.
Elias Boussnina - "Bring The Pain" feat. UnoTheActivist
Elias Boussnina shares ‘Bring The Pain’ featuring UnoTheActivist, the forth track, taken from Elias debut EP ’Shameboy’, set for release in February 2019.
Elias drops a brooding soulful vocal over dramatic electro-synth beats, the result is an irresistible brand of RnB that draws us in from the offset. Lyrically ’Bring The Pain’ continues to focus on the destructive impact of infatuation and addiction, two reoccurring themes that are present throughout the EP. ’Bring The Pain’ was produced by Louis Winding (Nelly, Brandy, Outlandish), as well as written and co-produced by Elias himself.
Speaking about the track Elias said “Bring The Pain is about feeling unable to keep yourself away from something you clearly know isn’t good for you, you keep returning to it because it feels great in the moment, but you know deep-down that it will all come crashing down in the end.”
It’s a sound hard not to love, pitch perfect heartfelt vocals underpinned by a rhythmical soundscape of rolling percussion and pounding synth beats. The final verse features acclaimed Atlanta-based rapper Uno The Activist, who, on hearing ‘Bring The Pain’ being presented to Republic Records in New York was hooked “He liked the track so much, we decided he had to jump on it for the last verse” said Elias.
Of Danish-Tunisian descent, Elias speaks English, Danish, Arab and French. He grew up listening to hip-hop and American soul and first found success in 2015 under the moniker of Rap artist Yung Coke. When that project came to its natural conclusion, Elias began writing more R&B infused tracks and transforming his sound and identity into the expertly crafted art you hear today. Elias’ first three singles, ”5:30”,“Lost Ones” and ”Candy” were released to critical acclaim in Denmark, and the artist is now poised to reach an international audience in 2019.
Elias Boussnina releases his debut EP ’Shameboy’ on February 15th 2019 via Universal Music Denmark.
