Kwaku- "Pressure" [Review]

May 10, 2019 by Kreadiv Kesh in Contemporary R&B, Hip-Hop

Rating: 4 out of 5

“Kwaku is the true definition of a cross over artist. He delivers creativity and variation as he tells his story of being an artist. ”

Over the years I found myself growing as an artist but moving further away from personal topics in my lyrics. When writing love songs I felt comfortable being open & honest because I could avoid speaking on my day to day life as an independent artist struggling to get heard. But now as I just turned 25, although I feel like I'm getting closer to making it in the industry, it's still not enough to make music my full-time career. With this unfortunate truth and pressure to abandon music for a more stable future, I decided to put everything in this song because I have nothing to lose.
