“Really enjoyed this. Wordplay on Toonami Flow had me smiling then Brilly Asher switches to a more somber beat with Angela David speaking on the real and Dead Ninja starts and I started remembering how messed up this world is. Dope. 5/5”
“Aaron K. has an impressive flow but I think it’s gonna take something else to make him stand out among a sea of rappers! Still, as I said I’m impressed and hope to see him rise among the masses 4/5”
“Visual and track are both clean! Feel like Ridgio is holding back a little but but look forward to hearing more from him! 3.5/5”
“After hearing several previews of “Whoa” on social media, I’m excited to finally watch this visual! I’m going to start this review by pointing out a small detail that impressed me and that’s the intro font on the video! I see alot of videos and it seems like alot of editors have an issue with including clean fonts on videos. Even tho the font is simple it adds a cinematic experience to watching the video. Sorta like seeing the movie title before the film starts but enough about that! As soon as the video starts visual efx are used subtly but effectively enough to draw the viewer’s eye ! Then we have a machete wielding Harley Quinn type female with a mask on who stands out as well! Add on two characters in a Trump and Dick Cheney mask and this video gives me vibes reminiscent of how I felt watching The Purge! Don’t forget about the Obama cameo too! Now let’s talk about the song! Whoa! The hook is catchy and perfect for the times. Verses are solid with glimpses of genius. Overall this is a dope release and has me excited to see and hear more from Cali Stackz. If I had to point out a negative I would say that the graffiti filled location is kind of overused but even still I see how it adds to the grungyness of the videos concept so can’t be too mad! Two thumbs up 5/5”
“Now you know you get brownie points for getting the youth involved! Props! Record is dope too. Voice and cadence are on point! 4/5”
“I like the vocal effects on this record. It’s different! 3.5/5”
“Love the cadence of this record! In studio performance video is pretty “Dope” too! ;) 4/5”
“Clean visual with dope efx. Song is dope too. Definitely for the trappers! I CAN DIG IT! 4/5”
“Creative visuals! Smooth vibe! Dope song to hear on this Saturday evening. 4/5”
“The video gained extra points for this song but it’s a pretty cool tune as well 3.5/5”
“Though I’m not too crazy about the production, I enjoyed Vonno’s lyrics and delivery! Would love to hear him on something more uptempo and less cheesy production wise! 3.5/5”
“I’m not gonna lie. When I started watching the “Karma” video I expected Billionaire Buck to start rapping when the music started but the melodic vocals were a pleasant surprise! 3.5/5”
“I like how Big Zo put his life as a rapper/music teacher out there for the world to see! Gotta applaud how open he is! I ask myself “Why can’t it just be simple?” all the time! 3.5/5”
“I am a big supporter of “stud” rappers but Nia Mack came with heat regardless! Plus I think the guy shaking his dreads in her video is one of my Facebook friends! Dope... 4/5”
