Lil Pak -No Heart (feat. Gunna) [Review]

November 14, 2025 by Kreadiv Kesh in Rap
“Lil Pak steps into a new lane with “No Heart,” linking up with Gunna for a track that blends icy confidence with smooth, melodic flexing.

Lil Pak delivers sharp, focused verses that feel like he’s leveling up, tapping into a colder, more polished persona. Gunna slides in with his signature effortless flow, adding a glossy layer that elevates the entire record.”

      Taye Blues - GTTH [Review]

October 22, 2025 by Kreadiv Kesh in Rap
“Taye Blues’ “GTTH” hits hard from the jump a sharp, confident rap track that blends street grit with self-reflection. His flow is clean and assertive, riding a slick beat that keeps your head nodding. Lyrically, Taye spits about hustle, loyalty, and staying true while cutting through the noise.”

Lex Leosis - sayso [Music Video Review]

October 07, 2025 by Travis Erwin in Music Videos, Hip-Hop, Rap, Pop
“Hailing from Canada and standing 6’2 Lex Leosis is used to standing out. And now she’s turning Hip-Hop stereotypes u[side down with her deep voice and wild curls. A self-proclaimed recoevering people pleaser, she dedicates ‘sayso’ to others who have went against their gut for the benefit of others. Especially women and queer folks who’ve carried the weight of others, and now must learn to build boundaries and reclaim space for themselves.

Beyond this, the track has a gnarly infectious beat and an undeniable rhythm that will leave you singing along long after the last note has faded.”

BlackDiamond x Compton AV - Who's Next [Music Review]

October 07, 2025 by Travis Erwin in Music, Rap, Trap, Hip-Hop
“BlackDiamond and Compton Av team up to deliver this hard hitting flow. The streets of Fresno shaped BlackDiamond and a thirteen year prison stint further honed who he is today. ‘Who’s Next’ is the kind of track that will resonate for others but comes from the heart and soul of a an artist that is simply spitting his own truths.”

September 05, 2025 by Kreadiv Kesh in Rap
“The song is full of surprises even with a mood shift midway, the standout moment is the verse at 1:36, which the artist calls their best part. It’s sublime and keeps the groove alive. A perfect fit for any groovy, feel-good playlist.”

              ESG TRE -Toria [Music Review]

August 10, 2025 by Kreadiv Kesh in Rap
“The song carries a strong West Coast Cali vibe, reminiscent of 2Pac, but with a danceable groove. It feels authentic and raw, with a true gangsta rap aesthetic that stays true to the culture.”

                M-Dot x Confidence - 24 to 1 [Music Review]

June 27, 2025 by Travis Erwin in Music, Hip-Hop, Conscious, Rap
“M-Dot lays down the hard hitting lyrics in a flow that lands with passion and precision. Confidence produced the track with a nod to the old school boom Bap that made Hip Hop what it is today. ‘24 to 1’ defies the trend of catchy hooks and instead leans into the power of verse and a well delivered flow.

Real, honest grit and emotion carry the day on this track. And I am here for it.”

Cam Carter - Fake Sunsets [Music Review]

June 27, 2025 by Travis Erwin in Music, Rap, Hip-Hop, Conscious
“Cam Carter and Ray K team up on this hypnotic Hip Hop vibe about the fakeness that permeates through not only Southern California but society on the whole.

The beat and build almost mirrors some of the vapid Pop tracks that certainly add to the trendy fakeness of our culture but these artists do a masterful job of toeing the line between highlighting the fakeness and creating a track with bite.”

Hypnautic x Grayson Ratliff - Memories [Music Review]

June 26, 2025 by Travis Erwin in Music, Hip-Hop, Trap, Rap, Pop, Indie Pop
“Hypnautic is one half of the popular hip hop group Top Flite Empire. ‘Memories’ is a lyrical bomb just waiting to explode in your ears and heart. The track definitely is a tweener in terms of genre but that does not diminish the impact of the talent or writing.

A track to feel and complex enough to give you new nuance each new listen.”

Roots of Creation x Edo. G x Afroman - Ride or Die Chick - remix [Music Review]

June 26, 2025 by Travis Erwin in Music, Contemporary R&B, Dance, Pop, Rap
“What’s not to love about a groove-filled jam from Roots of Creation, Afroman, and Edo.G? I mean come one you can feel this one right from the start. ‘Ride Or Die Chick’ is a mantra tof stubborn love and dedication. An ode to loyalty perhaps even when it isn’t deserved.

And the easter eggs of hits gone by is a nice addition. This is talented artists having a good time and it shows.”

“Jay Wood demands your attention with his track ‘ASSUMPTIONS.’ But probably not in the way you imagine. This trippy, almost psychedelic flow is a vibe that doesn’t force your full attention by force like so many Rap tracks but rather is alluring in musical groove kind of way.”

June 13, 2025 by Travis Erwin in Music Videos, Rap, Trap
“KSI mshes the pedal on this track and thrill ride of a video. ‘Catch Me If You Can’ is an anthem for those who have put in the work, defied expectations, and cemented their place at the top.

KSI says: “This track is all about levelling up, proving yourself, and staying ahead of the game. ‘Catch Me If You Can’ is my way of showing that I’m always pushing forward, whether it’s in music, boxing, or life. No matter what obstacles come my way, I keep moving.”

THe video is well down and is a throwback in some ways to the Golden age of music videos.”

May 06, 2025 by Travis Erwin in Music, Rap
“Carrying the mantle of talent out of Compton, Yestrdy delivers a flow that lands somewhere between Kendrick and Yelawolf in style for the track, ‘Awful Lot.’

Lyrically the track is about getting older and wiser and realizing the place you are might not align with where society expects you to be by a certain age. But it might be perfect for how you feel on the inside. This is a track about being true to yourself and who you are.”

Pluto Outerspace - "Sorry 4 The Space" [Music Review]

April 28, 2025 by Kreadiv Kesh in Music, Autotune, Rap

The first track, 'Divine Technique', on Pluto Outerspace 'Sorry 4 the Space' album eases you in slowly. You’ll find yourself twiddling your fingers to the airy, futuristic melody before Pluto even touches the mic — but when he does, it locks in. The intro feels intentional, setting a spacey tone that carries through the whole project. Pluto uses a few lyrical samples here and there, but they blend so well with his flow and production that you barely notice — he puts his own spin on everything he touches.

One thing that stands out is how each song title feels like an invitation. It’s almost impossible not to want to click just to see what vibe he’s about to serve. When I saw 'Don Julio', I expected a club banger — something loud and rowdy — but Pluto surprised me with a more mellow, almost hypnotic track that leans more into groove than hype.

The production across 'Sorry 4 the Space' is clean but experimental, playing with spacey synths, quick drum patterns, and unpredictable beats. It feels futuristic without losing its energy. The songs are short, but it works — they’re perfect for quick TikTok trends, Instagram Reels, and getting stuck in your head.

Overall, I’d call this album energetic, futuristic, and vibe-heavy. Pluto Outerspace really takes you somewhere else. It’s a quick trip, but every song gives you something you can rock out to, replay, and, most importantly, feel

Diamond The body - MVB [Music Review]

March 20, 2025 by Travis Erwin in Music Videos, Rap, Hip-Hop
                                  “
”Hip Hop has long been about attitude and verve and standing up and out. Diamond the body has embodied all of that with ‘MVB.’ The flow slaps, and the beat adds to the vibe of the track.

This is one of those track that will be divided between the lovers and haters, but I applaud the confidence and the talent so count me as one of the lovers.”

ESG TRE - GOT THE BOMB [Music Review]

March 12, 2025 by Travis Erwin in Music, Rap, Hip-Hop
“This was my favorite track from ESG TRE’s album, TRIPLE 2 TRE though the entire album hits. ‘GOT THE BOMB’ is an old school style delivery but without feeling dated or too retro. The lyrical build keeps you leaning in and the varied delivery makes damn certain you don’t fall out.

A good, old-school Boom Bap style flow with the nuance to be relevant in today’s Hip-Hop landscape. ”

RYN SCOTT - Just Human [Music Video Review]

March 09, 2025 by Travis Erwin in Music Videos, Hip-Hop, Conscious, Pop, Rap
“RYN SCOTT drops this self-aware flow that should resonate with the masses given we are all ... ‘Just Human.’

The track takes on a subject and view often ignored in the blustery, cocksure world of Hip-Hop and that alone is refreshing. The genuine honesty, and vulnerability give the song grit in a surprising fashion and the spot on timing and impassioned flow sell it all in a way that makes this an easy track to fell as much as you hear.”

Red Lotus - THE GAME [Music Review]

March 01, 2025 by Travis Erwin in Music, Rap, Hip-Hop, Conscious
“Red Lotus stands and delivers on his new track, ‘The Game.’ There is a Kendrick level intricacy to the message and intent and it gives the song a power that is rare these days, but for this one I;m going to let the artists tell you more.

From Red Lotus ... “This song was inspired by a powerful lesson my father used to share with me before he was tragically murdered: ‘The game ain’t free. Nothing in life is free; even when we gain, we must lose something.’ It’s a lyrical rap track with cypher-like elements, rooted in storytelling—a craft I believe is becoming a lost art in hip-hop. The message emphasizes the sacrifices that come with life’s pursuits, delivered with raw emotion and thought-provoking lyrics. This track is for anyone who values meaningful narratives and the authenticity of classic hip-hop.”

A song to dive in and digest over multiple listens. ”
