“Recording at the legendary Royal House Recording Studio, ‘I Been,’ just might be Ice Meez’s best work yet. The Northern Californian rapper has caught the ear of Platinum artist Tee Grizzley who flew Meez to Detroit to record this track.
Riding a confident mid-tempo bounce, the track has a commercial edge making it accessible to all without sacrificing the West Coast vibes or edge that has defines California’s scene for decades.”
“Ice Meez is bringing the West Coast vibes on his latest track, ‘What It Do.” Sharp lyrical punches land with precision and power, and the beat hooks the listener to pull them along.
Ice Meez knows how to create a vibe and he does so here with a skilled expertise. The track does a good job of fitting in the space between old school and contemporary and no matter the era this one simply hits.”
“Ice meez unleashes a track that is personal in nature but also speak to all of us. ‘Tomorrow’ is not promised and it is vital we embrace the present rather than spend all our focus chasing the future. The video for this track is well done and effectively adds to the emotions of the track.”
“Ice Meez knows how to sell the emotion and feeling of his well-written lyrics and once again delivers an impactful song for our listening pleasure.
’My Moment’ is a track that delivers truth and hope, without ignoring the difficult realties of this world we all face. The song has grit and genuine emotion, and Meez’s flow is delivered with an emotive power. The chorus adds a smooth groove that breaks that up perfectly to give the track a nice balance.”
“A smooth R&B/Rap blend for the warm summer days and those sexy poolside parties. Ice Meez and Trill Lee team on this track to deliver a soulful groove that hits as hard lyrically as it slides easily through the ears melodically.
Get out there with a drink in your hand a the sun on your face and ‘Swim,’ but don’t spill that beverage when your gliding to the groove.”
“Repping Nor Cal, Ice Meez delivers his flow over an upbeat tempo that hooks and holds the listener. ‘Mogul’ is about taking the talent you possess, and the drive pushing you and using both to propel yourself beyond what is expected from the merely talented to legendary.
The flow brings energy and verve and the beat is one that will keep your head bobbing and your body moving. A no frills, no nonsense track that hits home with precision.”
“Simplicity is not a bad thing when done right, but so many artists today go over the top trying to create something new that they lose the message and meaning of their work. Ice Meez avoided that trap and gives us a straight forward, and yes simple, flow while bring his track, ‘Huh,’ to life. But don’t confuse simple for easy or shallow, because Ice Meez packs a lot of emotion into his words and delivery.
The video is the perfect patch to his delivery and this Northern Californian artist is one to keep tabs on.”
