Geoffroy ft. Men I Trust - Thirsty
Earlier this month (march 10th), Geoffroy released his album Coastline exclusively on Apple and Spotify. It quickly passed the 1M plays mark and Geoffroy’s album is steadily positioning itself as a 2017 must.

The track Thirsty is the third collaboration between Geoffroy and Men I Trust, who are real-life friends from Montreal. When Men I Trust sent the instrumental to Geoffroy, he was really excited and pulled of the vocals and lyrics in one day. The result is trippy, relaxing and sexy.

Black Dylan - Don't Wanna Be Alone
Following the successful launch for their debut album Hey Stranger in summer 2016 (including BBC Radio 2 & BBC London playlistings, live appearance on ITV’s Weekend with Aled Jones & front page feature in Blues & Soul Magazine), Black Dylan return with their new single Don’t Wanna Be Alone.
It’s an uptempo and energetic track, delivering a sensitive message with a foot-tappingly good mood, incorporating horns and dynamic classic synth stabs to give the song a playful and captivating groove. Yet again Nuplex proves his skills as an eloquent soul producer which, combined with Wafande’s distinctive and unique vocals, makes Don’t Wanna Be Alone a strikingly punchy tune.
Wafande describes the song as "...a very relevant song that deals with loneliness, which I think is a huge social problem. Both the loneliness that comes when people live their lives through their iPhones and iPads, but also those who are so lonely that they do not have family or friends”.
Black Dylan recently performed live on the Danish Broadcasting Corporation’s Big Christmas TV Show and in January at Eurosonic Festival in The Netherlands. This summer they will play at Cornbury Festival in the UK, with more shows to be announced soon.

Louis Futon - Surreal (Feat. RKCB)
Louis Futo has a production style that brings out the most infectious performances of the vocalists he collaborates with, so it’s only fitting that his forthcoming single is in tandem with the ever-intricate duo RKCB (producer Riley Knapp and vocalist Casey Barth). Titled “Surreal,” the follow up to Futon’s 2016 smash “Wasted On You” (15 million+ streams online) is a dense, velvety smooth outing that finds Barth making it outright intoxicating with a sultry blend of pop and r&b sensibilities. In regards to how the track came about, Futon said “I wanted to create something really fresh and soulful with this one,” while RKCB noted “When we heard the track it was so immediate to us. We absolutely fell in love with the world it creates and just wanted to bring people in with us. It makes us feel almost out of control, yet entirely present and so in love with the moment.” Already having toured with ODESZA and released official remixes of artists like Anderson .Paak and ZHU, Futon looks to make 2017 a defining year after the release of “Surreal” as he’ll be embarking on a headline tour this spring with new tunes and fan favorites in tow (all confirmed dates below with more coming soon) after recently making appearances at festivals like Okeechobee and CRSSD. On his brand-new banger “Alone,” King Magnetic trades fiery verses with two living rap legends, Slug (of Atmosphere) and Masta Ace, over hard-hitting production from Khrysis. Making the cipher complete is Queens’ own DJ Eclipse, who provides the slick scratches on the hook.
The release of “Alone” follows two other heaters off Mag’s upcoming album, Everything Happens 4 A Reason: the symphonic slapper, “I’ll Show You” featuring Cappadonna and Dink, and the project’s inaugural leak, “Cash 4 Catastrophe” which was accompanied with a video.
Just as fans enjoyed the real-talk of “Cash,” we’re treated to Hip-Hop in its purest form on “Alone.” Of course, we have King Mag and his teeth-gritting bars to thank for that, in addition to the always-sharp rhymes of his guests. Slug and Ace are the type of elder-rap statesmen who haven’t once lost a step in their decades-long careers, whether they’re talking their sh*t or serving up wisdom.
The two provide a fine offering of both on “Alone” alongside King Mag, who in addition to his upcoming album is getting ready to hit the road soon. He’ll be touring alongside Wu-Tang Clan heavyweight Cappadonna, and up-and-comer Recognize Ali.
“Alone” can now be played through all major streaming outlets, and is available for download as the third and final instant grat track off the iTunes pre-order for EH4AR, which drops next Friday (3/31) through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms via King Mag Music.
