“This track felt dangerous from the first beat, and Ariane’s vocals only add to that foreboding, yet alluring sense. The video tells the story quite well as the song unfolds. Lyrically I did get caught up in the repeated phrase ‘polyester blend,’ but beyond that the lyrics and story here is so palpable I was totally immersed.”
