“Given the genre of ‘Bye Bye,’ and the fact Sophie Gray is a burgeoning 15 yo pop starlet, there will no doubt be comparisons to Taylor Swift. However, that line is a tough one for me to draw.
Gray brings a heaver, songwriter vibe to this commercial mix and that somehow layers in an additional bit of emotion that transcends beyond youthful energy, to wise, world observer.”
