Ryann Ross - Irish Exit [Music Review]

“Say hello to Jersey born, LA based artist, Ryann Ross. Or better yet stop and listen to her artful and emotive delivery on ‘Irish Exit.’ No Irish goodbyes necessary as you will want to stay for the full ride.

As does much of the music that speak to me, this track blurs the genre lines. Alt/Indie Pop, or heartfelt Americana. I can make a case for either but why bother. The important things are the emotion and evocative delivery to sell those words in a way that makes feel as if you are actively living every word.”

Lucy Frost - Lead Paint [Music Review]

“This song is a bitter pill of truth we all face at some pint or another. ‘LEad Paint’ by Lucy Frost is a track about those moments of realization you have fucked up and wound up in a relationship that has zero potential for the future.

Delivered in a sweet almost baby doll brand of vocals, the track’s lyrical edge feels just that much sharper.”

Félix Collin - i still replay [Lyric Video Review]

“Félix Collin leans in on Indie/Alt Pop vibes to deliver ‘I still replay.’ The track is tender and vulnerable while also maintaining a distant loneliness to sell the emotion of the lyrics. The song deals with emotional attachment and an inability to move forward at least in a timely and healthy fashion.”

Silver Otto - Favorite [Music Review]

“Silver Otto is a rising Alt Pop star that blurs the lines of genre and style. ‘Favorite’ asks the question what if we are living a lie and then twists it by asserting who cares if we are because sometimes the fantasy is far more fun than reality.

The artists as well as the song seems to dance on the edges lending an extra air of intrigue.”

Amy Swift - Under [Music Review]

“Amy Swift bursts with sultry and defiant attitude on ‘ Under.’ The soulful Alt Pop track is all about that dangerous kind of love. The kind where lust leaves you hungry and desperate even though you know toxicity lurks in the depths of the relationship and it’s only a matter of time before the passion takes a dark turn.”

Gabrielle Ornate - Sun And Moon [Music Review]

“Gabrielle Ornate gives us a celestial and forbidden love story about the ‘Sun and Moon.’ The track offers an ethereal take on classic rock style vocals to create an engaging and spot on vibe that gets the wheels turning about the universe at large as wella s how things sometimes don’t work out for reason beyond our control.”

Starling - Cupcake [Music Review]

“Alt Pop can take any number of directions and here rising UK Pop star Starling unleashes a stream of conscious style narrative about shedding self doubt and flagellation in favor of enjoying life exactly as who you are. Written on her birthday it feels like a self-awakening we all need from time to time.”

Mount Saint Elias - Lorem Ipsum [Music Review]

“Life takes us all places we never planned to go. ‘Lorem Ipsum’ is a track about waking up and realizing life has led you to a place you don’t necessarily want to be. A song for anyone that has ever been stuck in a rit and longed to break free and taste life for all that it can be.

Mount Saint Elias has captured the emotions of day to daylife and managed to make them entertaining and thought provoking.”

Obed Padilla - RODEO CLOWN

“A heartfelt and meaningful track, ‘Rodeo Clown,’ could be Obed Padilla’s best offering to date. The track is about grief and heartbreak and feeling like you are taking too long to move on to the next phase of life. It si a reminder that we are all on our own emotional journey and there are no road maps.”

Wintur - Close Your Eyes [Music Review]

“Indie Pop covers a lot of ground but if you are looking for a quintessential track that fits the genre look no further. ‘Close Your Eyes’ from Wintur offers a timeless Indie Pop sound and style that is emotive and vulnerable and full of emotional nuance. With each listen you will peel back another layer and fall deeper in love with the track.”

Carbon City Lights - Certain Things Matter [Music Review]

“Carbon City Lights shines bright with their latest Indie Rock release, ‘Certain Things Matter.’ The laid-back groove is brought forward by warm, reverb-soaked guitars, and poetic, emotionally grounded lyrics. The lyrics are about letting go and not succumbing the overwhelming world around us.”

Gabriela Bee - 17 [Music Review]

“Gabriela Bee has plenty to say on her new single, ‘17.’ Before I weigh in I want to share some thoughts from the artist ...

’At the heart of the song, ‘17’ reflects on a formative year marked by overthinking, isolation, and learning to process life as it unfolds.’

Adulthood is tough and taking those first few steps even more so. This song displays a maturity in songwriting and the soft tender delivery sells those emotions well. A track we can all enjoy and appreciate no matter our age.”

KELS - Daddy's Not The One [Music Review]

“Fresh off her performance at the NFL Draft last night, KELS unfurls this sultry bit of Dirty Blues. ‘Daddy’s Not The One’ is a powerful ode to freedom and independence. The track oozes with confidence and take charge attitude while maintaining a sexy subterfuge about it all. ”

Lø Spirit - See Me Now [Music Video Review]

“Rising alt-rock artist Lø Spirit has something to say to any and all haters and doubters out there. ‘See Me Now’ is dedicated to those who battle chronic illnesses to still chase their dreams. THe video matches the dark gritty determination of the track itself and you can feel the talent and passion in every single element. A song perfect for that motivational playlist.”

Noon - Love Takes It All [Music Review]

“Noon unfurls a nostalgic Rock track that is at home in today’s mystical landscape but could have easily landed in 1983. The classic Rock vocals cut in this tale of a toxic relationship you can’t quite walk away from.”

LOSTNOTE - Fumes [Music Review]

“LOSTNOTE captures some nostalgic magic and meshes it with contemporary sensibilities. This Indie/Alt Pop track is lyrically sound and sonically pleasing. The track offers up nuance and depth that unveils itself with eacha nd every listen. This is a track that means more with each subsequent listen so add it to you playlists and enjoy the ride because there is plenty in the tank despite the track being called, ‘Fumes.’ ”

Green Acres - Cotton Candy [Music Review]

“Green Acres pours up a nice pint of warm nostalgia with ‘Cotton Candy.’ The Indie Rock track is about a campus brewery they frequented during college and the need/desire to recapture those carefree moments again.”

Codefendants - The Fix [Music Review]

“Teh story of the Codefendents is a good one ...

Get Dead vocalist Sam King’s graffiti crew were giving tattoos and making flash art to raise money to help rapper Ceschi Ramos when he was in prison. Months later they met at the Gilman Street Project in Berkeley, California. They bonded, talking about their love of hip-hop and punk rock, over a bottle of Jameson. They didn’t know it yet, but they had just started Codefendants. Impossible to define by traditional standards, Codefendants were forged out of a desire to make an album that sounded like nothing else, so they enlisted Fat Mike of NOFX and Baz the Frenchman to make a completely genre-fluid album; a cross between hip hop, new-wave, flamenco, and the Beatles. They call the sound ‘Crime Wave.’

The new single ‘The Fix’ is an 80s inspired fusion of old school Pop modern Punk and musical trailblazing.”

Conor Miley - Raise Your Red Flag [Music Review]

“The world is perhaps more chaotic and tumultuous than ever before and Conor Miley is urging us to ‘Raise Your Red Flag.’

The Irish rocker takes on political polarization and the emergence of extremist, conspiratorial voices within the mainstream. This is an Indie Rock plea for more empathy and common sense amid rigid political affiliation.”

CHLOE STAR - Emergency Contact [Music Review]

“Chloe Star is pissed off and fed up on her latest track ‘Emergency Contact.’ The Alt Pop track is about one-sides love and coming to the realization you are carrying all the weight in a relationship. It is about drawing a line in the sand and saying enough is enough. But doing so with intent and purpose middle finger high in the air!”
