“Riding a steady, taunting beat, Yury partners a perfect back beat and melody to a set of straightforward lyrics to give us a middle fingered anthem to all those who are looking to hold him down.
We’ve all been there, ready to hold our head high and stroll through all the haters, so ‘Spite’ is a track that speaks straight to our inner defiance”
“This genre bending single carries a universal message without resorting to petty commentary making it stand out in the crowded field of break up songs.
Nice simple emotion carries this track, and a melody that offers several surprises along the way fuels this winning release from Marcus James.”
“Artist Parris LaVon is very metaphoric and he releases this energy in his music as he turns his pain into a pot of gold in Two-Four.”
“Guy Ferz image reminds me of a Hip-Hop version of Jon B. Ferz is poetic and it shows in his lyrical flow and story telling. This song is mixed and mastered very well and the tempo of the keys interacts with his vibe perfectly. ”
“This is a true riding song. The laid back production on this track with the JusBadd smooth rap flow balances the song to perfection”
“This song has a west coast vibe to it. Pistol Dave comes in strong with his lyrical madness and stays consistent throughout the whole song. ”
“The flow is awesome. The two connected their Rap & R&B vocals to appeal to listeners of different generations. ”
“From that first beat, Benzi demands your attention.
The question asked in this refrain is simple to answer ... ‘Whatcha Gon Do’ ... is listen to this track over and over.”
“Dive in because the water is thumping in this ‘Sharktank.’ Lyrics razor sharp and a ragged delivery that brings out the emotion. A track with some real splash.”
“The intro is dark, but real, and the lyrics launch off from from this with something to say. Far too many tracks fall into the trap of a convenient rhyme rather than writing with a clear message. ‘My Last Words’ is powerful and raw and delivers a truth that is far too uncommon in most songwriting.”
Rating: 5 out of 5
“Songs carry a power to entertain, educate and enlighten and this song carries that three-pronged torch well.
The production and delivery are solid here, but this track is about the message and emotion.
Reminiscent of Kendrick Lamar this is music with something to say. And say it well as cartel leader El Chapo is not glorified here, but rather used as a metaphor of political protest.”
“This track delivers with a infectious beat, back dropped by a haunting air raid siren that could have overshadowed all else with the wrong production, but as is the balance of the music and words and that siren only serves to punctuate a set of lyrics that speak loud and clear. The delivery is engaging and raw and the emotional bounce held me in the groove. ”
“Raw and powerful, this track brings gritty emotion in a hard definitive delivery. ”
“Get’Em is a track that grabs you instantly, and when I say grab, I do not mean in a gentle embrace, but with a fistful of your shirt. As hip-hop should be, this one catches your attention and holds it as you listen to a delivery that both antagonizes and delights. ”
“There is no denying a beat that can make you bob your head is a good one. Bennett A.K, a young rapper from Jakarta, Indonesia, does just this in his new song “Mirror Mary Boogeyman.” His pop culture references and heavy bass, catch on to the trap style popular in today’s rap scene. His infectious chorus (“Mary let me see you lamb, post it up on instagram..”) are bound to get stuck in your head and show up on your social media captions. ”
“This is raw and gutta! Love the energy of this record. Hard! 4/5”
“I like the feel to this track. Lyricist matches perfectly with the beat. This track is definitely something to ride to. 4/5”
“Hot! Great idea using an instrumental with a familiar vibe. Rhymes remind me of A$ap Mobb and SlumtheGod. “SUM IT UP” fits the vibe of what’s popular right now 4.5/5”
“Solid track. I DJ sometimes and I thought to myself would I spin this track? The answer was yes! I would definitely let this play at Sesh or Hiphop event. 4/5”
