Philip Morgan Lewis - Blowtorched Dreams [Music Video Review]
Rating: 4.5 out of 5
“Bluesy and moody, this track conjures emotion and imagery before the vocals ever hit. The attitude continues in both the performance and lyrical content. ”

“Don’t vanish before you take a listen to this track by Confetti.
No matter which side of the ghosting phenomenon you find yourself on, you will appreciate the lyrics and energetic Alternative Rock vibe to this single. Catchy in a way ghosts, nor those bad Tinder dates, ever are, this is a track you will want to listen to more than once.”
“Love how the vocals cut through the track. I also like the fringer effect on the voice. Makes the voice more like an instrument. ”
“This is a happy little track that will have you cruising down a road of endless possibilities.”
“If you have been missing the hair band sound of the 80s, you will dig what Glostik Willy is doing with this old school ballad of a rock song.
Close you eyes and you imagine Axle Rose swaying with the microphone pole, or Bon Jovi in tight leather pants if that is your thing, because this one will take you back in time..
So good to know the true elements of rock and roll are still alive and flourishing today.”
“ Grabs your attention from jump. Very good arrangement. The lead singer shows amazing vocal range and control. Great song overall.”
“Yesssssss to the energy. We want to sometimes loose ourselves within the instruments and melodic sounds of an artist. Fake & The Soul Aesthetic releases that kind of energy with their new single “Brown Sugah Chocolate. ”
“The beauty is this track feels just like what the title says ... a ‘Legacy.’
Ari has a background performing as a frontman and actor, and this, his first solo music, showcases those talents with bold bravado vocally.
I suspect we are about to hear a lot more out of ARI and already the single “Legacy” was tabbed by Rolls Royce to play a part in the luxury carmaker’s marketing for their signature model, Ghost.
Given the classic rock sounds Ari is sending forth, I can’t wait to hear more off the new album.”
“Some songs and artists are tough to classify. Thus is the case with Wilder Woods and ‘Someday Soon.’ With a voice that demand your attention from the first note, to a simple yet, perfect melody this single made me pay attention. Lyrically, it feels like solid advice from a wise friend.
This song offers both hope and sadness and is one to sit with and think about the ebbs and flow of life.”
“The vocals grabbed me from the very first verse, and start to finish I was hooked. A nice mysterious melody adds to the flavor and a catchy chorus lends this track a timeless feel. The only thing I am ‘Curious’ about is what will the talented Little Dume deliver next? ”
“Nostalgic lyrics and haunting vocals blend perfectly with the power chord melody to make this track an indie rock treasure. ”
“Smart lyrics delivered in a an alluring sing song style early before diving into an indie rock treasure.”
Anarbor is back in a big way with new single “MIA”. Hearing welcomed influences of pop-punk from the band’s early days, this track is one of those that nostalgically bring you back to the romantic indulgence of teenage angst.
While the influence of early 2000s pop - rock is obvious, you also hear a sound that has expanded on this and that is crafted for today’s alt-pop audience. Taking a look at their massive onslaught of fans this sound transition is evident as their fanbase is still largely teens, only this time around the teens are of a different generation.
Staying current is an impressive feat for any band that had made their rise in a different decade. Anarbor’s impeccable ability to do this comes from the band’s mastering of dynamics and their obvious curiosity for popular music. “MIA” gives us subdued but steady drum and bass lines putting focus on the double guitar and Slade’s engagingly vulnerable vocals. The skillful backing sound mixed with the more show-y guitar riffs give Anarbor the rock-edge that keeps their music from ever fully entering into the pop world. By so carefully treading the line between pop and rock they are set up to attract both the masses as well as the more subversive pop and indie-rock enthusiasts.
The group is currently on an America-wide tour playing a show-a-night (except Mondays) for the next couple of months. They have joined forces with popular indie rockers Alvarez Kings and WILD for various parts of their tour. They will be covering just about every corner of the United States so keep up with their tour schedule on Instagram and catch them live doing what they do best.

“What drew me in about this track is the surreal vocals along with the smooth combination of instruments”
“Very smooth combination of instruments!”
“The beginning of this song felt like a climax! So much emotions in the playing of the instruments with great vocals to match! 4/5”
“This song made me put a Thizz face on and nod my head! The intro jam session is funky to say the least! When the vocals of Alex Kramer finally started I honestly felt like his tone and raspyness was a perfect match for the music. I wish there was a little more soul at times in his voice but “Testimony is a solid record! 3.5/5”
