“The flow is immaculate and reminds me of Eminem. I like how No Town Vandal is consistent with the word play but doesn’t make it over the top. The deliver is clear and adds a little hype to the track. I like how he takes the track to explain who he is and his rebranding. ”
“ Sometimes life be lifing to where you don’t want to be here anymore. Don’t we don’t promote suicide we don’t stray away from the moments of thinking we are better off dead. Julianna Joy walks us through those thoughts which allows her to create a connection with anyone listening.”
“The track has an opera melody to it but comes with an entertaining delivery. D-Trait will make you want to cruise the streets and observe the city while giving a musical vibe.”
“Between this and “Locs” I found more sound in “Godt Damn”. The instruments and the flow makes this track very laidback. If you asked the artist to randomly lay out a freestyle this would be it and it would be a hit.”
“Heart Will Remain” is a smooth yet calm track that sets the tone of relaxation. Arts Fishing Club describes a love and their qualities. It shows the sweetest yet simple things that hold interest. I picture this song being made next to a lake on a cool spring day. ”
“Energy energy energy. From the hard snapping snares to the chill jazz pianos and synths in the back ground. Love the tone of the artist voice where its singy but still delivered the way any rap fan could appreciate. The energy alone and charisma in the delivery would have any crowd moshing and moving.”
“Can always appreciate post production intros to set up the mood of songs. Raw vocals but well needed for the free flow of the piano chords and overall feel of the song. This artist has bars so say the least. This song could be performed in front of a big crowd or an intimate coffee shop setting. And even with her accent, this song still comes off extremely universal. Jazz meets hip hop for a crazy new and original fusion.”
“If angels sent vocals from heaven, they would sound just like these. Soft, acoustic guitar and simple piano. The way the vocals start in unison then go into harmonies at certain marks make this a beautiful over all composition. Powerful, motivational music. “You remind me of the light, so bright”. Just wow. If “Less is more” was a song, it would be this. The addition of the maracas in the second verse to add another layer of musical texture is brilliant. Nothing about this song lacks in any area. Great listen. ”
“This is what hip hop heads call “classic hip hop”. Simple, chill beat being lyrically tap dances on bar by bar. If you take your attention away for just a second you may just miss a gem. Love how they let the beat breathe on the hook which gives the listener time to get ready to ingest the plethora of lyrics coming at them on the second verse. This song would go over well at any hip hop festival. Head phone, cassette tape music. ”
“This is is both high speed and full of energy. I could hear this turning any house party up. It would also be perfect sound track music for movies like “Fast And Furious” where the action could match the energy of the track. Catchy and chant worthy hook. I’m sure this song would translate well in a live performance.”
“Soft soothing intro leading into a melodic head nodding verse. The texture of the this artist voice draws the listener in. He effortlessly goes back forth from dropping bars to catchy meddles. This artist is pure talent. This is refreshing to hear and I would love to hear more from this artist”
“The song brings excitement and high energy. I can picture “Fast Cars” being on the soundtrack of “Fast and the Furious”. King Shaad gives a hook with supportive lyrics that will have you vibing and driving.”
“Jackie Art unleashes one of his most energetic & vibrant videos yet with his brand-new single “See Yuh”. The new track showcases Jackie displaying a confident, yet cocky persona and fierce delivery.
The intro has a violin sound to it which makes you ready to listen. Jackie Art’s single “See Yuh” is an introduction to his success. The song is filled with confidence and good energy, if not one else see yuh you will see your self.”
“It’s official. Its summer time and time to vacation while watching the sunset. Abedúl ‘s “Sunset” is filled with good beach vibes. The tempo will have you feeling relaxed while wanting to dance to the Caribbean melody. Allowing the surprised ending to take effect. ”
“Distinctive vocal timbre. This artist sounds like one of one. Dark, trapped out production. Complex bars and a chant worthy hook. Although not much changes in the cadence of the production or the delivery of the artist, the song still maintains its energy from start to finish. ”
“80s party music meets urban, emo techno. This artist delivers his lyrics on his own time. Long and drawn out but still heart felt.. he makes sure that the listeners gets a chance to digest every bar. I could see this song on an 80s cult classic soundtrack. Old style music delivered properly to sit right in the pocket of the new age listener. ”
“Breakups are complex and hard, no matter the circumstances and often the wounded parties pretend as if they never knew each other to cope and move on.
Vilhelm Buchaus tackles this dynamic with the powerful lyrics of ‘Nothing At All.’ A soaring ode to heartbreak and resiliency and trying to pick up the pieces. This Commercial leaning singer/songwriter vibe has an Ed Shereen meets Taylor Swift kind of vibe and is universal enough to reach anyone who has suffered through the grief of a breakup.. ”
“Caroline Romano is a star on the verge of breaking out, and her latest single, ‘This House,’ is the kind the emotionally laden track that will endure her to listeners.
Reminding me of the emotional punch Taylor Swift delivers Romano blends vocal power and talent with a vulnerability and honest songwriting to go beyond the superficial and talk directly to our souls. ”
“Estella Dawn is a favorite of ours here at LA on Lock. Hailing from San Diego this Southern California Pop star never fails to impress with her thoughtful lyrics and emotional delivery. ‘Didn’t Occur To You’ lands in-between a songwriter/country vibe and a Pop diva standard with soaring vocals to showcase Dawn’s talent and range.”
