Detroit’s Fool Boy Marley hit the ground running by building his name and notoriety from gracing many stages with likes of hip hop heavyweights, like Gucci Mane and Machine Gun Kelly, to touring with Charlie Baltimore and Big Heff’s Midwest Industry tour. After teaming up with BMB Records, he has begun to push out a constant stream of music and viral videos to constantly show off his skills. Today we would like to share his new video for “Better Man,” a thoughtful clip that shows the many sides and talents to Fool Boy Marley.
His hard work is paying off in a big way. He’s getting daily radio spins on stations from California to Miami to Memphis, and of course, Detroit. His global reach is supported by XM Radio (Hip Hop Nation/Shade 45), and he continues to tour regularly. On top of his talents, Fool Boy Marley is passionate about giving back and can be seen lending his notoriety to any number of causes from Autism Awareness, Coats for Kids, Flint Water Crisis, Back to School Drive and Feeding the Homeless. It’s this sort of self-awareness that comes through in everything he puts his stamp on, with the “Better Man” video being a perfect example.
“Better Man” is an introspective clip that features Fool Boy as a man who has committed the ultimate betrayal on his girl, portrayed by Detroit beauty Bella The Bombshell. While some artists celebrate the act of infidelity, the “Better Man” song and video focus instead on his quest for redemption and the self-imposed torment he must go through in order to learn to be the mate he wants to be, and the one she deserves. As the story concludes (you’ll have to watch to find out how it ends!) a quote by Alenna Brown comes across the screen, perfectly capturing the lesson; “Our love is the horizon… For there is never really a true end.”
Friday 11th November: Professor Green drops the video for single ‘One Eye On The Door', which is available to buy now on iTunes and to stream across all platforms, (Impact Date: 9th December).
New single 'One Eye On The Door' was produced by Diztortion and premiered on the Radio 1 breakfast show. It sees a return to candid lyrical form for Green, recounting the tragicomic events that occur during a relationship and the excuses and recriminations that follow.
The video for ‘One Eye On The Door’ tells the story of Green on a ‘messy’ night out with mates at a squat party. Out later than he should be, his conscience - which is depicted by a ghoulish apparition in a female form - is telling him to head home, but he keeps ignoring it. The more he ignores it, the more it haunts him.
Featuring Professor Green’s real-life friends - IQ, Dream McLean, Damian Brambley and Memet Mustard to name a few - he says of the video “I thought the only way to depict a convincing party in the video, was to have a party. So I invited my mates along to the shoot. Luckily the camera men didn’t drink as much as we did...”
‘One Eye On The Door’ is the tenth Professor Green music video directed by long term collaborator, Henry Schofield, who also directed ‘Upper Clapton Dance’, ‘Jungle’ and ‘Read All About It’.
Firmly established as one of the crossover superstars of British music, the Hackney born and raised rapper started out as a revered battle MC before landing a record deal in 2009. Seven years later he now has under his belt two Top 3 albums and over 2.5 million combined sales in the UK alone, alongside four headline tours and numerous main stage festival performances (from Glastonbury to Wireless).
Over the past year Professor Green (aka Stephen Manderson) has presented three critically acclaimed BBC documentaries, published his autobiography 'Lucky' and continued his ongoing work as Patron of anti-suicide charity CALM. Following the surprise release of track ‘Back On The Market’ which received support from key music tastemakers including GRM, SBTV, LinkUp, RWD and Nation Of Billions, Professor Green then followed up quickly with 'One Eye On the Door’, his first single release since the 2014 platinum certified chart hit 'Lullaby' (featuring Tori Kelly) and since signing to his new label home, Relentless/Sony.

Teddy Benson first began his trek into music when he was in high school after getting hooked after his first cypher. From then on, he knew he wanted to be in music. After some trials in his life, he ended up in Brockton, Massachusetts. It was in Brockton where his lyrical content really began to flourish, and by the time he was 16 he began working with his first mentor. His time on the East Coast exposed him to true hip-hop, and life in general. Teddy has performed in countless venues around San Diego, and in January 2016 he signed with indie hip-hop recording company Ackrite.

"Dreaming of Ferraris" can be streamed on your favorite music streaming services like Soundcloud, iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, Google Play, and more.
Originally, the 1st verse was supposed to be the 2nd verse. And the 2nd verse was supposed to be the 1st verse. However, I switched them around to how it is now because the song opens up wayyyyy better like this.
But according to how it was originally made, the song was about my progression as an artist. This music stuff and rapping never came natural to me. I was actually terrible (ask anyone) and I was out here like "Yeah, these tracks are gunna have me riding in Ferraris and shit!" Obviously, back then I thought I was good, but now I realize that was not the case. So, yes, the climb to get to the skill level I'm at now was VERY REAL.
Emerging onto the scene from Boston, MA, artist/producer Clark Sage began his career as a result of a 9th grade science project. Now, at 22, he creates music that derives from experiences and moments of his life. Any set of circumstances may inspire different feelings in his music such as chill or jumpy or moving. The final product, however, is music that's original and memorable. His albums, "For Something Greater" & "The Modest Anomaly," are prime examples, ultimately leading his track "On The Road" to be featured on Pitchfork. For him, all steps are intended. Everything is envisioned. The future of Clark Sage is already written.

Hailing from the Sacramento area, California, $cotti Bishop is a rising hip-hop artist with an eclectic approach to his blend of music. With influences ranging from the likes of Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar, to Bob Dylan and Al Green, it's hard to put any aspect of $cotti's music in a box. One thing that can be said, however, is that spontaneity is a big part of $cotti Bishop's songwriting and brand. This is demonstrated in his new song "And 1 Freestyle," a two minute track where $cotti takes a break from his usual structure and delivers nothing but bars, wordplay, and solid rapping all the way through.
