AYHAY set to release comical visuals for the catchy trap single ‘ON MY LIFE’

South London’s AyHay is one of those rare hip hop artists who is able to combine a fun, comical approach to music making with witty bars, catchy hooks and on point hip hop/trap production. His latest single ‘On My Life’ showcases this skill of writing stick in your head trap tunes with trademark comical visuals to boot. He has fast become known for creating comical music videos, blending 90’s US Hip Hop and trap with catchy choruses and hard hitting 808’s.

Never one to take himself too seriously with his video content, he’s delivered a colourful eccentric video, shot in Norway and directed by himself and Pia Nara Thorsen. From rapping on a hammock to taking selfies with plastic flamingos and letting them sip on his wine, AyHay sings melodic flows over the catchy SLeh Beats production. ‘On My Life’ is the first single taken from AyHay's ‘WAIT’ project dropping later this year which features highly acclaimed US emcee VI Seconds .

"It started off as a freestyle and when I listened back I was going to change the verses to make them more complex in terms of lyrics and flow but they were just too catchy to change. I sent my friend a demo version and asked if I should change the verses and he said "No, it's perfect, don't change a thing!”

Ayhay first become known to the hip hop scene after he featured in a TEAMBACKPACK cypher , showcasing his bars to US crowds whilst on tour. Other rappers to have graced the TEAMBACKPACK platform include; CyHi The Prince (Kanye West's G.O.O.D label), Joell Ortiz (Slaughterhouse and Eminem's Shady Records), KYLE (iSpy with Lil Yatchy), Hopsin and Dizzy Wright.

"Drew Barrymore" is the new single from LA-based indie/R&B artist Bryce Vine.

Earlier this year, Peezy signed to Bay legend E-40's Sick Wid It Records, eventually grabbing a deal with 300. Today, he's announcing his debut EP, Humble Beginnings, which is scheduled for an October release and is exclusively produced by Cardo (who's also worked with the likes of Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Jeezy, among others). He says he learned a lot in the process of putting together an entire body of work. "All my life, if I wasn't feeling something, I'd just stop it and move onto the next thing. But I learned that putting a whole tape together, you could record one song that you don't like but that don't mean you gotta put it on the tape. I'm sitting on 90-95 songs right now. But I'm only putting six songs on Humble Beginnings.

GQ Nothin Pretty - "In the House" (feat. Ruste Juxx & King Magnetic) [Video]

GQ Nothin Pretty’s new video for “In The House” is a high-energy, bravado-fueled romp through NYC, featuring underground stalwarts Ruste Juxx and King Magnetic, who drop bars with reckless abandon over Trilian’s neck snapping production.

The video’s directed by Tim Foster for We L!IVE TV , with additional support provided by Pachino for Naked Eye Filmz, with cover art and media promo by Adam Tummons for AT Media . And to say their vision perfectly captures the vibe of the track would be a massive understatement. With slick cuts courtesy of DJ TMB, bits of clever animation, and sharp editing, the “In The House” video feels like the perfect marriage of old-school tenacity with new-school technology.

The visuals are also a strong reminder that you shouldn’t be sleeping on GQ Nothin Pretty. The PA by way of BX emcee dropped his impressive Animation album earlier this year, which in addition to Ruste Juxx and King Magnetic, includes features from the likes of Nutso, Blacastan, Ras Kass, and Tragedy Khadafi, among others. AJG909 is a Southern California recording artist from Rialto, CA. Along with Prote-J, One-Sixxx & Young Ceno, they make up the BlaQ Kennedy collective. "BlaQ" is a single off AJG909's Double Cups & Swisher Blunts LP. The song is a cypher type posse-cut where each artist details their perspective on Southern California life and their ambition for hip-hop. Originally released on Inauguration Day, the video premiered on Aug 13 and has campaigned close to 8K views online.
