“Breeze Davinci rides a smooth flow and an addictive beat to bring out ‘Mind Games.’ The vocals lean on the production dynamics a bit too much at times, leaving me craving more emotional resonance, but the impact still comes through enough for me to engage and stay tethered to the build. The writing and groove are strong and the track is one I will certainly add to a few different playlists.”
“Love, Dean is the creative collaboration of a husband and wife duo, and the intimacy they bring to their sound is a big part of the engagement. ‘You Won’t Forget’ is meant to be a love letter to whoever takes the time to pause and listen to their words and music. The track is soulful and smooth and is as easy to move along with physically, as it is to emotionally connect to the lyrics.”
“FALANA established a nice groove on this track and one might say the ‘Energy’ is exactly right. Riding a tranquil but expressive beat and melody, FALANA layers on an emotive set of vocals that drips with a sultry invitation that is hard to resist.
This is Contemporary R&B with a vibe that simply wraps around the soul and pulls you along for the entire ride. ”

“This project has been something I’ve wanted to do for a while and the lockdown opened the door for that. I got to collaborate with two special Nigerian producers TBabz and SteveRawd, as well as my long-time collaborator GP. Not only am I a Nigerian but I am also a Christian and that comes out in this project. So ‘Larry Ginni Crescent’ can be described as deeply Christian and deeply Nigerian. From the songs about faith, to songs about love, everything connects to this one point – al that we do, all that we experience, can be used for our art. I hope it moves you”.”

Despite her new attitude on love she makes it clear that just like the transformation of a butterfly feelings are transformed as well.”
“Most Wanted offers up this track that simply hits different. The build and progression is a departure from the norm, and the construction here works well thanks to the energy and beat production. I did struggle a times to stay with the lyrical flow, but the groove and energy made it come to life for me despite that fact.
I appreciate the raw talent and willingness to put something out in the world that doesn’t feel derivative of every other track on the radio.”
“The stripped down arrangement of ‘Raindrops’ helps set the mood and make the track feel alive in a soft and gentle kind of way. Much like a calming rainfall does wonders for your soul, this track just feels refreshing to your ears and mind.
Under The Rug adds a bit of an odd interlude to the end of the video and track, but even that brought a smile to this jaded reviewers face. ”
“This track is not an easy one to categorize as there is a little bit of of Funk, some soul, a hint of R&B, and all of it comes with good a blend of retro and new vibes.
Adeline gives us a groove and a ride here that is easy to fall in and stay with for the duration. ‘Eternity’ captures the sentiments of summer, and especially this summer, very nicely. ”
“Wavy guitar licks and a smooth sultry vibe ushers in this track from ASTN. ‘It’s Not That Serious’ offers a timeless sort of sound that lures the listener in and wraps around them like a warm blanket on a dark chilly night. Call it soulful R7B with just enough of a pop undertone to keep the track relatable for music lovers. ”
“ Listening to the string of the guitar takes you away. As the tempo moves into the song more “Letting Go” is the musical tone of a neo-soul night. The Naked Eye presents feelings through music.”
“The escalating tempo hooked me on this track. Coming with a staccato flow infused with attitude, Mo Nicole rides the beat letting her lyrical punches land with precision. After a steady build, the flow backs off which allows the words to carry more emotion as the message sinks in with depth.”
“We all are tired of lies but love makes it hard to control. Eunice and Tommy deliver a seductive song about making choices. The song displays everything that people experience when it comes to the truth and the lie. The ending is delivered from a poetic stance but you feel the emotional connection overall. ”

“The soft and smooth vocal build kept me on the hook early on as Yoji built into the emotion of this soulful ballad. The gift of hindsight would be nice, and sometimes all we can do is trust that good things are coming, but this track offers a sweet refrain for those thankful of where they are now. ”
“With a hint of Blues and a whole lot of soul, Dominique Fils-Aimé definitely has her ‘Mind Made Up,’ and after you listen to this talented vocalists your mind will be made up as well.
This affirmative build and progression simply sweeps up the musical soul and carries it forward along with the track making it impossible not to close your eyes and lose yourself in the music for a few minutes.”
“With all that is going on in the world a good Neo-Soul, groove speak night is needed. Due to restrictions not many places are having those events. “The holidays are filled with love and gatherings but there is no place like home. Jamie Grey’s ‘Christmas In Our Hometown’ is about memories and experiencing Christmas at home. The melody is a guitar meets bell in a smooth relaxed delivery. This would be a perfect song for any Christmas movie.
Jamie says: “I tried to just be honest and write about what the lead up to Christmas rather than the actual day always felt like to me being from our little town of Redcar. We kind of have a strip of pubs and bars in the town centre, which practically the whole town comes out to from around the 21st of December up until Boxing Day. I always remembered coming back from London and so looking forward to seeing old friends and even acquaintances that I’d only see once a year. ”
