Noah Reid - Minneapolis [Review]

April 30, 2022 by Travis Erwin in Music, Singer/Songwriter

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

“The emotional build and delivery reminded me of Jason Isbell a great deal. You could call this a day in the life of a touring musician, but the emotional relevance certainly goes wider than that.

’Minneapolis’ is a brooding story song that takes the listener for a ride while transporting them to a place and time making the track deeply feelable. The day is tangible in the mind and in the heart as you feel every word and turn of the finely crafted melody.

And if Noah Reid looks familiar to you that is because he starred in Schitt’s Creek as Patrick. And if you haven’t watched the beloved sitcom you should fix that soon after you take a dive into Reid’s talented musical offerings. ”

      Jon Vinyl - Favours [Reviews]

      April 23, 2022 by Kreadiv Kesh in R&B, Singer/Songwriter

      Review: 4 out of 5

“Jon Vinyl’s second release of the year “Favours” has a smooth intro. The song is dedicated to not being obligated to give something. Regardless if time is added people offer to give Favours even when they are on the clock. Jon’s vocals are lifting and will have you wanting more. ”

Jamie Miller - Last Call [Music Video Review]

April 23, 2022 by Kreadiv Kesh in Music Videos, Music, Singer/Songwriter

        Rating: 4 out of 5

“People sometimes go out to escape their emotions. Jamie Miller’s new single “Last Call” is about going out enjoying yourself but remembering who to go home to, who to call when you need a ride home, and who is your first call. The visual is fun and energetic while capturing different images of people.”

            Arcana - Emotionally [Review]

April 08, 2022 by Kreadiv Kesh in Singer/Songwriter

            Rating: 4 out of 5

“When you are in a room alone you start to ponder and reminisce wondering are you the only one with feelings. Artist Arcana understands that the presence is gone but wonders are the emotions still there. Does that person still think about you as much as you think about them or is it all one sided?”

Ben Abraham Another - Falling Star [Music Video Review]

March 24, 2022 by Kreadiv Kesh in Singer/Songwriter

                  Rating: 5 out of 5

“We often hear about artist’s coming out of their pockets to make their visions come true. Ben Abraham’s latest visual “Another Falling Star” is an example of that. The song speaks on following your dreams even if it means leaving people and things you care about behind. You can take chances and become a star or you can end up being a falling star. ”

TITUS BANK - The Way You Love [Review]

“Love is like a vibe. Titus Bank’s “ The Way You Love” is an acoustic pop track that explains how feelings can take over and provide a vibe that you never knew you needed. Sometimes it could be a mind over matter vibe or just allowing love to take over when you feel it.”

“Music can be healing but it can also bring emotions that we try to bury. “Stereo Emotions” is about the love of music and a partner. NuJ4X reveals how music places a role in matters of the heart. One song or many songs can reveal how you are feeling as your emotions play through the stereo. ”

GAYLE - luv starved [Music Video Review]

March 18, 2022 by Travis Erwin in Music Videos, Singer/Songwriter, Pop

                          Rating: 4 out of 5

“GAYLE is back on the heels of her super hit, ‘ABCDEFU.’ This new track, ‘luv starved’ comes with the same emotive attitude, but brings a different vibe with a more low key performance rather than the in your face tact of the last single. GAYLE utilizes more nuance in the delivery, but that same vocal rasp and emotive passion comes through making it impossible to turn away from the performance. This track cements the talent and direction for a rising star and I can’t wait to witness the trajectory.”

                            Rating: 5 out of 5

“I usually don’t like samples and remakes. However, these days some of the top hits are different versions of songs we heard long ago. The King Of Wordplay Steve DaMar serves us miscellaneous truth in lyrical form in his latest single “Living Single”. He uses the 90s “Living Single” intro to introduce us to his life and how he deals with not only living on his own but dealing with different decisions.

As an artist the only deals you try to make have to make sense and cents. DaMar explains this in his new visual and shows us the best decisions are usually the one’s you make on your own and the strongest relationship is the one you have with yourself.”

                                Kali Sade - 3:30 [Review]

March 07, 2022 by Kreadiv Kesh in Singer/Songwriter
“Kali Sade latest track explains the difference between distance and closeness. When you are with someone the world doesn’t even matter. Nothing matters but their energy and their presence. When you are not around one another it is a different story. So you are sitting up at 3:30 in the morning playing everything in your mind but knowing you still want them to stay. Especially for those lonely nights”

                                  Indy June - Silhouette [Review]

March 07, 2022 by Kreadiv Kesh in Singer/Songwriter

                                  Review: 3.5 out of 5

“Sometimes the music takes you away. You can feel it in throughout your body. Indy June’s new single “Silhouette” takes the harmony of her vocals and allows her to carry her imagination through her lyrics”

Anna Bates - Last Man On Earth [Music Video Review]

March 04, 2022 by Travis Erwin in Music, Singer/Songwriter, Indie Pop

                                    Rating: 4 out of 5

“Inspired the unfinished TV of the same title, ‘Last Man on Earth’ is a wryly sharp track about the end of times and the few people that remain left behind. The imagery of the video is as entertaining as the actual song.

Anna Bates is a talented songwriter and here she delivers an emotive track that comes with humor and emotion — a rare combination to get right. The track has a folksy vibe at times, and feels light and airy, but lyrically the song covers a realm of emotions.”

Jackson Guthy - Like I Did [Review]

March 04, 2022 by Travis Erwin in Music, Commercial, Indie Pop, Singer/Songwriter

                                      Rating: 4.5 out of 5

“There is an inherent sadness to this track but given that Jackson Guthy is singing about the waning days days of a relationship that is almost a given. ‘Like I Did’ is a last ditch question to a lover in a final effort to get back to the former happiness and euphoria the couple once felt.

Delivered with an emotive rasp and a building piano melody the track feels timeless in both its sound, and emotions. ”

                                        Sahara Beck - Stillness [Review]

March 04, 2022 by Travis Erwin in Music, Singer/Songwriter, Indie Rock, Indie Pop

                                        Rating: 4 out of 5

“Sahara Beck delivers a haunting yet tender set of vocals on this track. ‘Stillness’ is sort of the calm before the storm with fear and anxiety looming on the horizon, the track’s lyrics and vocal style bring out the rising dread you feel when you realize the world is about to tip and become less stable. Deliver in nuanced fashion, the impact is all the stronger. ”
