Mia Mormino - Stick-Up [Review]

September 10, 2021 by Travis Erwin in Music, Electro Pop, Commercial

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

“I am a sucker for a good story song and a murder ballad certainly fits the bill. okay so Mia Mormino’s track isn’t exactly a ballad with its jazz infused energy and retro scat vibes, but it the story of a pissed off and fed up Burlesque dancer ready to exact her revenge on the men who expect more from her than she is willing to give.

Mormino’s talent brings it all to life and the writing is dead on. Pun intended. My only wish is there was a bad ass video to give some imagery to this track. ”

Lexi Berg - Lonely World [Music Video Review]

September 10, 2021 by Kreadiv Kesh in Singer/Songwriter, Music Videos, Music

    Rating: 5 out of 5

“Life is forever changing. We often let it pass us by because we are not paying attention to our surroundings. In some aspect we are all connected and there are many strangers there willing to lend a helping hand. In Lexi Berg’s new single we discovered even though they say it’s a “Lonely World” the world actually is filled with hope and hearts.”

Gabe XO - Can't Lie [ Music Video Review]

September 09, 2021 by Kreadiv Kesh in Music Videos, Music

        Rating: 4 out of 5

“Artist Gabe XO will surprise you with this one. “Can’t Lie” is being honest with what you want and don’t want. He is coming straight forward with the girl he wants and what he sees in her. The beat delivers a climax sound and the video displays a good time. ”

Cuttaman 100Gran - Rich Porter [Review]

September 09, 2021 by Kreadiv Kesh in Music, Rap

          Review: 3.5 out of 5

“Cuttaman 100Gram reminds me of Kevin Gates with his deep and direct vocals that you just can’t stop listening to. His new single “Rich Porter” references his hustle to the late harlemite Rich Porter.

Cuttaman speaks on how hard the grind is and everyone wants you but he also keeps a girl next to him with no issue.”

Jboi YBP - Out tha Mud (feat. Jazze Pha) [Music Video Review]

September 09, 2021 by Travis Erwin in Music, Trap, Rap, Hip-Hop

            Rating: 4 out of 5

“The intro to the video really hooked me in, and set of the mood for the flow of this track. The beat production and groove are easy to fall in on and the lyrical flow resonates for anyone that has ever had a hard slog to try and get ‘Out Tha Mud,’ so to speak. The tone of the flow works well with the autotune and production dynamics keeping the listener leaning in and on the hook. ”

Kajé - Tear Us Apart [Review]

              Rating: 4 out of 5

“The sounds of R&B is missed. Kajé brings it back in “Tear Us Apart.” The beat is a smooth emotional tempo as the soulful vocals come over it. Singing from the heart but in an understanding manner giving the formula to healing scars and making someone feel special. ”

                John Adams - Ripcord [Review]

September 09, 2021 by Travis Erwin in Music, Singer/Songwriter

                Rating: 4 out of 5

“Skydivers pull their ‘Ripcord’ to stop their freefall and open the parachute to safely land. This song is about falling in love and how their is no ripcord or safety device to make falling in love gentle and easy.

John Adams offers a timeless vocal style that is both emotive and heartfelt. This is a track to add to your relationship playlists or to share with the one you are falling for. The track offers a big bold progression that easily carries you along.”

Chloe Lilac - 10 Things [Music Video Review]

September 03, 2021 by Travis Erwin in Music, Music Videos, Electro Pop, Singer/Songwriter, Indie Pop

                  Rating: 4 out of 5

“Chloe Lilac does not pull any punches in her latest single, ‘10 Things.’ Never piss of a writer and especially a songwriter as they can and will use those emotions to fight back. The writing here is strong and the emotion behind the delivery works well in this revenge track of sorts. There is a Pop, almost Punk vibe that hooks the listener in and keep them invested in the lyrical build. ”

DJ Zenas x Ramond - The Spot [Review]

                    Rating: 4 out of 5

“Labor Day brings both party vibes, and a subtle brand of sadness as you realize summer is coming to an end. This track from DJ Zenas captures both of those vibes.

’The Spot’ comes with a groove and rhythm that feels like sipping a cold drink beside a warm pool, but the party is coming to an end and with that limited time this single feels like a Sunday afternoon as another long weeks looms ahead.

The dynamics here gives you all the feels.”

Roma’s new single “Under My Shirt” is a self reflection ballad of finding yourself. Visually walking us through life’s interaction just to reveal how he goes back to a small part of sadness but he still manages to function through it all and find his self on his own.”

This Pop track simply feels real and genuine and keeps you leaning in start to finish. The writing takes a unique spin on the usual break up tropes we’ve all heard so often.”

Bootleg Rascal - Sharks (Remix en Español) [Review]

August 27, 2021 by Travis Erwin in Music, Reggae

                                Rating: 4 out of 5

“Bootleg Rascal gives us a track that hits like a Bad Bunny/Jack Johnson Reggae fusion. The rhythm and musical groove hook you in and the mix of languages lyrically works well to keep the track fresh and exotic in its sound. This is simply one of those songs that seduces you and gets you singing along even in the places you don’t understand the language. ”

                                  Tom Mackell - Gone [Review]

August 26, 2021 by Travis Erwin in Music, Singer/Songwriter, Alternative, Americana

                                  Rating: 4 out of 5

“Tom Mackell honors his mother and all of those who touch our lives and are ‘Gone’ far too early. The emotive track serves as a good reminder without dipping into the morose or forced sentimentality. The track has an Americana vibe and for those not familiar of with the genre think of Springsteen and Petty with a dash of bluesy country to the overall sound. This is simply a well-written and meaningful song delivered with heart.”

                                    DxBoY - Lit Again [Review]

August 26, 2021 by Travis Erwin in Music, Trap, Rap, Hip-Hop, Commercial

                                    Rating: 3.5 out of 5

“DxBoy makes the most of this Trap beat and flow. ‘Lit Again’ is an ode to escaping lockdown and getting out there in the world alongside people and finding your vibe. The track comes with an easy beat to fall in on the groove and the lyrical flow hooks and holds the listener as well. Short but no so short that the flow doesn’t grab you and make its point. ”

“ The song “Shouldn’t Be Doin This” reminds you of all the songs that would play on Total Request Live on MTV. This was a single that also went viral on Tik Tok, with 170k views and nearly 50k likes in 48 hours. The group Highly Unlikely expresses wanting someone that you feel as if you shouldn’t have but you just can’t stop wanting them. ”

His second release of the year speaks on insomnia and not really knowing which direction to go in life. You began to chase your dreams but not all dreams are reality.”
