“Chris Divine’s new song ‘Don’t Let Up’ was inspire by Tupac’s ‘Brenda’s Got A Baby’. The song serves as motivation for women to keep their head up even when they are tired. Sometimes unplanned motherhood strengthens women when they least expect it. Shot in Black and White the aesthetics is to show emotion and that there is a such thing as having a family and love.”
“Tell someone they can’t and they do one of two things — quit — or work harder to prove their doubters wrong.
Sjr has obviously taken the latter path and honed his craft until it was razor sharp. The flow on ‘Said I Couldn’t’ comes steady and smooth like a Hip-Hop/Soul blend that conveys just the right passion and emotion without allowing the production to get in the way.”

“A sweet tender love song, not about the euphoria of falling in love, but rather the slow steady burn of a growing love. This track was written as a 10th Anniversary gift from Timothy Ray to his wife.
’Dancing In The Kitchen’ captures the devotion and understanding that only comes with time and that bond of sharing everyday life. And this is a track that couples can certainly join hands and dance together in the kitchen.”
“We may think we have all the moments in the world, but sometimes we wish there was two of us. Sometimes our heart goes different ways and timing is just bad. Singer Khamari released his final single, ‘Other Side’, off his debut EP. Accompanied by the soulful vocals of Jae Stephens this single is a vibe of memories we don’t want to let go. ”
“There is nothing like harmonic vocals. Singer and Songwriter, Lo Knowles new single ‘The One Where They Run’ is about going to a place that is peaceful and free. Even when you are on the run from your emotions its ok to escape to your own place. The finger snapping draws in the melody even more.”
“This year has been filled with many deaths and tears. Veldor’s new single ‘Bat Shit Crazy’ pretty much sums the year up. He sings about living right, being alive and getting through the bad days. Some people get lost in their pain and discover their own gate way to take the pain away. This may cause pain to others as they drift away to the other side.”
“Expressing your feelings is never easy and quite often we turn to liquid courage to speak our heart. ‘One in a Million’ is a Pop-ish, R&B track about two lovers reluctant to admit they are falling for one another in a lasting kind of way. Jesse Gold shines here as does his duet partner and the two voices combine to keep the listener emotionally invested.”
“Smooth and sultry, this Jazz infused R&B track by Gabrielle Current is pure unadulterated emotion, which is ironic given that the lyrics are all about going ‘Undercover’ to protect your emotions from the dangers of falling in love.
The vocal delivery is sensual and soft ... but so very mesmerizing, and that steady beat backing a piano heavy melody keeps the listener under the spell of the music.”
“Sy Sylvers has an alluring vocal tone that simply invites you in at the first note, and here that comes with a melodic groove and rhythm that wraps around you like a warm blanket on a cold night. This combination has blissful affect that draws you in close and keeps you there in the tranquil bosom of her vocal embrace.”
“Delivering an uplifting message with a chorus from John Legend and a Hip-Hop flow from Tay Da Prince, this track is pure inspiration and positive vibes.
The video comes with an All-Star cast and the gospel vibe to the track does not comes at the sacrifice of a rich beat and energetic performance. Get on board with this project and do something positive today, be it a donation, a helping hand, or simply a kind smile towards another. ”

“Sweet, smooth Soul. Musically, vocally, and lyrically this track simply is salve for a chapped and scraped world.
I believe in this message, and I believe in the talent unfurling it here. Grab the one you love and slow dance, or hug your neighbor (Metaphorically since maintaining social distance is key right now) and sing along. ‘As Far As We Know’ offers the best of humanity in sound and message. ”
“A little Soul, A dash of Funk, sprinkled over some old school Gospel Blues and you have a good idea of the energy behind Sargent X Comrade’s single, ‘Take ME Higher (Who Let The Devil In).’
Part of an album dropping June 20th, this is one of those tracks that sweeps you up in tone and vibe and lyrically is rather simple. Still, you can’t help but go along for the ride as you move to the beat and the rhythm. This is a song you feel as much as hear.”
“Grace Weber is a bad ass. A sultry vocalist, a talented songwriter, and a strong-willed soul willing to unflinchingly speak her mind. IF that doesn’t make a person a bad ass, I don’t know what does.
’Sideways’ is a slow tempo track about taking back your confidence and power. The track has a definite R&B groove and a soulful vibe but still has a bit of Pop sensibilities underneath all of that. ”
“A love song about finding the courage to take that risk and jump from a long time friendship, to something more. Dan DeCristofaro and Bianca Sings deliver ‘Give Me Your Love’ with Soul and passion and the track comes alive with an undeniable energy.
Love is tricky, and sometimes it is a slow burn that blooms from the fruits of friendship, but as we all know it is never easy to escape the friend zone. Sometimes, that leap is exactly what you need. This is the love song for that course of action! ”
“Music is a form of art and AFIKA is a true artist. He guides us into his new song ‘Guide Me Home’ with the vocals on Totem in a revelation of peace. For the lost souls who walk in the middle of nowhere not sure what direction to follow this will not only move your soul but save it with its lyricism”
“Landing somewhere between Contemporary R&B and a more commercial Pop groove, ‘after mdnight’ is about wanting to be more than an after midnight booty call.
The track brings a smooth easy groove that is easy to fall into and sing along with, though there is also a sensual vibe like driving alone at tight on a rain darkened stretch of road while your mind runs away to someplace else. ”
“The unique timbre to LU KALA’s vocals are the first thing I noticed on the track. Then the well-wriiten lyrics captured my attention. ‘Want You’ is a track about a relationship not delivering what she needs, and yet the allure and desire is still, illogically present. The performance sells the emotion, while the beat and melody offer an energetic vibe giving this track a well-balanced allure of its own.”
“Latir has given us a uniquely modern throwback and yes, I am aware those words do not belong together in most cases, but ‘Wallflower’ is not most cases.
With a smooth vocal style that feels like an ode to the crooners of old, and a beat that ranges from almost Latin to Do-Wop to Hip-Hip — with even a splash of EDM dynamics the track really does bring a wealth of sounds and styles together.
Perhaps the most important element is that in the video and the sound it is clear that everyone involved is having a good time and this in turn makes it a fun watch and listen for us. ”
“Perhaps on another day, in a another moment in history, this track would not bring the relevance it does today. But hey, we all need a bit of cheer and hope right about now. And in the words of Alanis ... Isn’t it ironic, that it comes from a band called Federal Av?
Nevertheless, feast your ears and smiles on this soulful, uplifting track and forget about toilet paper shortages, cancellations, and the blight that has set all of the chaos into motion.
Go ahead, close your eyes and enjoy some fun music for a few minutes, because this crazy world is going to keep spinning faster and faster either way.”
“Producer NugLife is adept and bring interesting collaborations, but ‘All I Wanna Do’ is different in that it is a solo effort. Featuring his talents both on production and vocals, NugLife takes you into the world of the stoner producer and his perspectives.
With a touch of the psychedelic in the sound and vibe, this track feels like a nice chill trip into the clouds. ”
