The River -Hours [Review]

January 11, 2022 by Kreadiv Kesh in Singer/Songwriter, Neo-Soul, R&B

Rating: 5 out of 5

“Somewhere in the lyrics there is peace and truth. The River’s latest single “Hours” facing the reality of love, respect, and emotions. Over and acoustic melody the rain pours over the lyrical expressions of facing your feelings.”

    Hunter Moreau - Sleepyhead [Review]

January 07, 2022 by Travis Erwin in Music, Bedroom, Electro Pop, Indie Pop

    Rating: 4 out of 5

“We all get stuck in our head and repeat the same old tired refrains we believe to be true, but that often hold us back. Hunter Moreau takes that habit and turns it into an engaging Bedroom Pop track. ‘Sleepyhead’ has enough energy and verve to make the track come alive, yet enough emotional vulnerability to hook and hold and get us all to thinking about our own mental habits. ”

Cam Blair - RAIN DANCE [Review]

January 03, 2022 by Travis Erwin in Music, Hip-Hop, Conscious

      Rating: 4 out of 5

“Delivering a melodic flow that hooks and holds, Cam Blair, drops ‘Rain Dance’ on us. The track hits us with an easy groove and build and this infectious rhythm and delivery lends the single an easy to stay on vibe. That construction instills a strong instant connection, but that is not to say the lyrical flow is not intricate and evolved in a way that keeps the song intriguing long past the first listen.”

        Steerner - Rush [Review]

January 03, 2022 by Travis Erwin in Music, Commercial, EDM

        Rating: 4 out of 5

“Offering an intriguing build, ‘Rush’ from Steerner is a track that sweeps you up and in. Much like the rush of any addiction, it is hard to turn away from and that is exactly what the lyrics here are about. Be it drugs, love, or simply the thrill of a the beat on the dance floor this track is about chasing that vibe and feeling. A clean production and talented delivery brings it all home.”

Dax x Snow Tha Product - A Lot At Stake [Music Video Review]

January 01, 2022 by Travis Erwin in Music Videos, Hip-Hop, Conscious, Autotune

          Rating: 4 out of 5

“Dax never fails to bring the passion and intensity and here, clever wordplay accentuates that given a a strongly written flow that lands its punches. The addition of Snow Tha Product adds some variation to the build and worked to bring this one to life for me. ‘A Lot At Stake’ is a hard hitting track that gives you nuance to think over with each listen.”

Garfield x Syn - Aaliyah Interlude [Music Video Review]

December 31, 2021 by Kreadiv Kesh in Music Videos

            Rating: 4 out of 5

“Garfield introduces us to his smooth vocals as he tells a story in “Aaliyah Interlude”. Syn comes in and gives a female perspective creating a track that is full of musical dialogue. Most people don’t know how to communicate and tend to argue but they are delivering feelings and understanding in this interlude. ”

Forever Boy - Animal [Music Video Review]

December 31, 2021 by Kreadiv Kesh in Music Videos

              Rating: 4 out of 5

“Forever Boy latest single “Animal” is about living in a world of survival. Every day is a fight in a cold world to survive and not knowing who to trust. Instead of being surrounded by people we are surrounded by animals. The beat drop is hard and the flow is smooth despite the stress of life and trusting people in it.”

The KTNA - B.S (feat. J Warner) [Review]

December 29, 2021 by Kreadiv Kesh in Singer/Songwriter, Music, Neo-Soul

                Rating: 4 out of 5

“The KTNA delivers what is classified as a B.S ballad. The delivery is poetic and gives a neo soul vibe but in reality no one no longer wants to deal with anyone’s B.S. You emotionally feel the song as a peaceful anthem of meditation to get the courage to say f*ck it all.”

OG Bobby Billions - Holy Goat Live [Music Video Review]

December 28, 2021 by Kreadiv Kesh in Rap

                    Rating: 5 out of 5

“ I didn’t know what to expect with this one. However, OG Bobby Billions did deliver. With a soulful chorus and a Jazz melody he turns a rap song into a melody. The song Holy Goat Live is about going through ghetto emotions which are true emotions and hardships. He switches up right in the middle so you can feel the ghetto pain in your soul as if you was in church. This track is far from just another rap song it is true “Ghetto Gospel.”

As you drift in your own thoughts and elements you don’t give into the things that cause you pain. The flow is laidback with strong lyrical points and a solid hook that will have you cruising down the street “Unbothered”.”

Sea Girls highlights that experience but also tells the story of loving someone over the years and dealing with the changes of life. ”

Dropper - Memoirs of Working in a Bowling Alley [Review]

December 17, 2021 by Travis Erwin in Music, Indie Rock

                              Rating: 5 out of 5

“Some songs have a life, or at least aura about them that takes on its own personality and demeanor. ‘Memoirs Of A Working Bowling Alley’ certainly had that for me. The track from Dropper reminded me a bit of Sheryl Crow’s ‘All I Wanna Do’ in its wry perspective of a world full of people plugging along in their own way. The sound is a bit grittier here (in a good way) and perhaps more honest in its approach, but both tracks have true heart to them.

Frontwoman Andrea Scanniello shared her thoughts about the track. ‘We recorded “Memoirs of Working in a Bowling Alley” and the rest of our debut album with Andrija Tokic at the Bomb Shelter studio in Nashville. I’ve spent my entire adult life working in various service industry jobs- some more soul sucking than others. One of these jobs was spraying bowling shoes at the local lanes. “Memoirs” is about working these types of jobs and how at times it makes you question humanity and never want to speak to a soul ever again; that emotional drain that can only be experienced when you’re dealing with shitty drunk people night after night.””

Holidays in LA are different and Samantha Aurelio describes that in a nice melancholy letter title “Christmas in LA”. It may not snow but home is where the heart is which makes the holiday wonderful.”

Yeloboi Tommy - OUAH [Music Video Review]

December 17, 2021 by Kreadiv Kesh in Music Videos

                                    Rating: 4 out of 5

“Yeleboi Tommy has a smooth delivery in his new single “Ouah”. He talks about trust and surprises in what appears to be an outgoing visual. Despite heartbreak the visual represents how he still keeps his cool and gets to the money regardless of how many times he has been let down.”

Sometimes it takes hurt to realize how deep your emotions are and where they truly lie.Mark Hamilton and Jan Galach latest single “Hurt” visualizes what everyone goes through even if it is alone. We all have broken thoughts we can not repair no matter how hard we try. The track is nearly 5 mins long but it engages you musically and visually. It keeps you wanting more and if healing was found. ”
