#LAOnLockExclusive: Rich Trapper - Game 6

March 25, 2022 by Kreadiv Kesh in Rap
“There are so many different levels to life. Some may feel like life is like a game that you need to know how to play. South Central LA Artist Rich Trapper latest EP “Game 6” which is led by the single also titled “Game 6” is about facing those levels. Whether it’s simple things like going outside or realizing no matter how dangerous life can get you must keep going.

His motivation to become an elite player in this game called life isn’t just about winning but surviving. Considering he became a father at 12 years old he knew he had to always make it to see another day in the Crenshaw district.”

Ben Abraham Another - Falling Star [Music Video Review]

March 24, 2022 by Kreadiv Kesh in Singer/Songwriter

    Rating: 5 out of 5

“We often hear about artist’s coming out of their pockets to make their visions come true. Ben Abraham’s latest visual “Another Falling Star” is an example of that. The song speaks on following your dreams even if it means leaving people and things you care about behind. You can take chances and become a star or you can end up being a falling star. ”

      Roet - Dad's Song[Music Video Review]

March 24, 2022 by Kreadiv Kesh in Commercial, Music Videos

      Rating: 4 out of 5

“Losing a parent isn’t easy. Roet “Dad’s Song” expresses how the artist feels in the passing of this dad. Located in his home he shows us memories as he reveals to us his feelings. The song is short but you can feel and relate to him through his music.”
      — Kreadiv Kesh [LA On Blogger]
“I didn’t set off to start a project about mental health. But shortly after starting Roet, I had three friends kill themselves in the span of about a year and half. Each time I felt like I couldn’t write about anything else and the way those songs gave an outlet to my friends that had lost a loved one quickly became important me. I’ve had my own experiences with depression, suicide attempts, family issues, you name it but I do feel like I’ve come out the other side of that (at least for now). So mental health is something I have a lot of opinions about and Roet has become my outlet for that, using my own life experience as the canvas to paint on.”

TITUS BANK - The Way You Love [Review]

March 24, 2022 by Kreadiv Kesh in Singer/Songwriter

        Rating: 4 out of 5

“Love is like a vibe. Titus Bank’s “ The Way You Love” is an acoustic pop track that explains how feelings can take over and provide a vibe that you never knew you needed. Sometimes it could be a mind over matter vibe or just allowing love to take over when you feel it.”

          NuJ4X - Stereo Emotions [ Review]

March 24, 2022 by Kreadiv Kesh in Singer/Songwriter, Music

          Review: 4 out of 5

“Music can be healing but it can also bring emotions that we try to bury. “Stereo Emotions” is about the love of music and a partner. NuJ4X reveals how music places a role in matters of the heart. One song or many songs can reveal how you are feeling as your emotions play through the stereo. ”

            J. Graves - Valentine [Music Video Review]

March 23, 2022 by Travis Erwin in Music Videos, Indie Rock, Punk

            Rating: 4 out of 5

“Taken purely as a standalone song, ‘Valentine’ is a treat for the senses. Portland’s, J. Graves has the talent and verve to pull of the track with attitude and talented flair, but you cant take this single on its solo merits alone. The [project is fun and unique as part of a musical, choose your own adventure thread. The video ends with a question and your answer will determine the next track and so forth down the line making the music truly interactive. ”

Evrod Cassimy - U Know, U Know [Review]

March 19, 2022 by Kreadiv Kesh in Music

              Rating: 5 out of 5

“You ever came across a song that gives you off guard energy. “U Know, U Know” is that song. Evrod Cassimy vocal delivery will make you want to dance and overdose in the vibes of the beat the track gives. The musical tempo will bring positivity to a negative mood as the beat explodes through your body causing you to vibe with the song.”

Cam Be x Peter Jericho - Cookin' [Music Video Review]

March 19, 2022 by Kreadiv Kesh in Music Videos

                Rating: 3.5 out of 5

“ Summer and food is always a good vibe for me. The single “Cookin” adds musical flavor to a recipe. It gives you excitement to walk into a kitchen and cook even if it’s something as simple as a sandwich. The beat is very funky and retro but puts you in a mood to fully listen to the track and step foot into the kitchen. ”

GAYLE - luv starved [Music Video Review]

March 18, 2022 by Travis Erwin in Music Videos, Singer/Songwriter, Pop

                    Rating: 4 out of 5

“GAYLE is back on the heels of her super hit, ‘ABCDEFU.’ This new track, ‘luv starved’ comes with the same emotive attitude, but brings a different vibe with a more low key performance rather than the in your face tact of the last single. GAYLE utilizes more nuance in the delivery, but that same vocal rasp and emotive passion comes through making it impossible to turn away from the performance. This track cements the talent and direction for a rising star and I can’t wait to witness the trajectory.”

Shiah Maisel teams up with Afrojack to bring this EDM song to life. Give it a listen and let the vibes wash over you as you fall in to the musical build and forget about everyday life for three minutes and twenty seconds.”

Haiden - Sorry To Your Next Ex [Review]

March 18, 2022 by Travis Erwin in Music, Commercial

                        Rating: 4.5 out of 5

“Taking a unique approach to the conventional break-up song, Haiden unleashes a lyrical masterpiece with ‘Sorry To Your Next Ex.’ The irony and wordplay are the perfect dig for that ex that put you through an ordeal. Like a backhanded compliment, the track slap with force and hooks the listener emotionally if they have ever been there. The Pop delivery is contemporary and spot on. ”

“SEKI delivers a soft emotive set of vocals to usher in the track, ‘Need A Moment.’ there is a hint of the 80s in the build but the vocal delivery feels entirely contemporary and the track has that calming inspirational vibe that leaves the listener feeling positive and and uplifted.

A track to celebrate the ones you love and the joys of this world. ”

“Kelsey Gill starts the track off with a hearty bit of attitude, and then unleashes her vocal range and talent to set the hook. The sound reminded me a bit of Christina Aguilera with a touch mor of a soulful Pop groove lurking to create a different vibe. Lyrically, the track feels tight and holds the attention of the listener, but for me it was the groove and rhythm that really shined alongside the vocal talent to make the song come alive.”

The energy and uplifting vibes are exactly what you would expect from this trio of gifted artists and the track is one that sweeps you up and in almost immediately. Big bold sounds and an engaging build are the trademarks of the song and the production brings everything home to create an engaging single.”

K PRICE - TRUË RELIGION [Review]

March 15, 2022 by Travis Erwin in Music, Rap, Autotune

                                  Rating: 4 out of 5

“Inspired by tequila, weed and a good melody, brand new track, “TRUË RELIGION,” is one to play when you need some good energy. K Price drops a steady flow with just enough production behind it to set it off and establish an easy groove to ride with.

The track offers a vibe that you can fall in and let carry you away from the everyday. No need to reinvent the process when you have talent and can drop in engaging writing and a dope beat. ”

#LAOnLockExclusive: Steve DaMar - Living Single [Music Video Review]

March 14, 2022 by Keshia Gass in Singer/Songwriter, Music Videos

“I usually don’t like samples and remakes. However, these days some of the top hits are different versions of songs we heard long ago. The King Of Wordplay Steve DaMar serves us miscellaneous truth in lyrical form in his latest single “Living Single”. He uses the 90s “Living Single” intro to introduce us to his life and how he deals with not only living on his own but dealing with different decisions.

As an artist the only deals you try to make have to make sense and cents. DaMar explains this in his new visual and shows us the best decisions are usually the one’s you make on your own and the strongest relationship is the one you have with yourself.”

Rgm Bugsy - Rgm the Mobb [Review]

March 11, 2022 by Travis Erwin in Music, Rap

                                        Rating: 4 out of 5

“Rgm Bugsy is a back and forth flow with an intriguing up and down rhythm and give and take vibe to the lyrical punches. The groove hooks, and the writing is sharp and lands thanks to a steady, but well-timed cadence. There is a good bit going on and it might take a few listens, but the track is interesting from the first go and only improves with familiarity.”
