ZZ Ward - On One [Music Video Review]

July 28, 2023 by Travis Erwin in Music, Indie Rock, blues, Alternative

Rating: 4 out of 5

“ZZ Ward has the vocal chops to do anything she damn well pleases. Much like P!nk, you never quite know what style you are going to get with a ZZ Ward track and ‘On One’ gives your several in one neat package.

There is high energy Blues, a cutting Rock edge, and a sprinkling of a Pop brand of Hip Hop all within this single song. The energy comes straight at you and the power is evident on every note. And the video is a fun ride as well!”

    Concept -Run To [Review]

July 28, 2023 by Kreadiv Kesh in Contemporary R&B

    Rating: 4 out of 5

“The XScape “Who Can I Run To” reference automatically puts the listener in a state of recollection. Who says r&b is dead. 90s style hook and composition. Smooth, well delivered vocals. Well written arrangements and harmonies. This song is a vibe. ”

July 28, 2023 by Kreadiv Kesh in Electro Pop

      Rating: 4 out of 5

“After 15 years of being absent in music Mae Morad reminds us how talented she is. “Let Go” is a disco dance song that will make you want to dance but while feeling the emotions in each verse. The track allows you to sep into each note and let go. ”

July 28, 2023 by Kreadiv Kesh in Contemporary R&B

            Rating: 5 out of 5

“Violins, piano, guitars and soothing vocals. Straight from the soul lyrical conviction written in conversational form so that its more felt than heard. An open book of self reflection and regret all mixed in one. This song is sure to pull at your heart strings and leave goosebumps up your spine. A lover’s confessions. ”

              WiseWords -Eyes Wide [Review]

July 28, 2023 by Kreadiv Kesh in Hip-Hop, Conscious

              Rating: 4 out of 5

“Consciousness over a beat. The artist lay down lyrical law while not wasting a single bar on nonsense. These guys speak to your mental and of mental elevation but in a cool way to where it doesn’t feel preachy. The sample adds the extra zing the track needs to make it a track you can just turn on and vibe to. Each artist compliments the other and contributes to the overall chill flow of “Eyes Wide”.”

                Jay Kira -Triple Sec [Review]

July 28, 2023 by Kreadiv Kesh in Hip-Hop

                Rating: 4 out of 5

“The timbre of this artist vocal tone cuts right through the production and dances across the beat. Trap kicks and snares banging out while leaving enough room for the artist to do his thing. Then boom, the unexpected beat change. Although the artist doesn’t change his cadence, he still finds a way to deliver an energetic delivery in his monotone vocal style. ”

“This is an electrifying dance track. The intro build you up to where the drop hits at :42. The artist points out a lot of different moments that involved white lies. However, it also set the moods to not care. ”

The Never Ending Fall -Wasn’t So Bad [Review]

July 25, 2023 by Kreadiv Kesh in Indie Rock

                    Rating: 4 out of 5

“The intro draws you in sensual vocals, then “boom” you’re hit with a world wind of rock guitars and heavy drums. Right when you think you’re in for some head banging action, the artist pulls back into a chill delivery for the verse. This song is a roller coaster of energy and melody. Nostalgic rock feel that makes you reminisce on the great rock classics from the late 80s and glam era.”

John Conlin’s energy is happy and energetic accompanied by a snapping fingers melody. When the guitar came into play around the 2:20 mark it prepared us for the epic key change.”

Monotone vocal tone but with an undertone of aggression. No bars wasted. The beat is simple and melodic but leaves just enough room for the artist to dance all over it. Overall great listen.”

“Delivered in a classic Indie Pop sound, Holly Wild unleashes ‘Hard To Love,’ a track about struggling to love someone that isn’t as easy to be in a relationship with as perhaps they appear from the outside. The track is a lesson to us all, as we sometimes take things for granted or hold back from the ones who love us the most. Then again sometimes we just have to go with the clues others present and realize they are takers who are never going to give what we need.

This is a track that can be seen both ways and each listen offers something new. A definite add to several of my Spotify playlists. ”

“Love has never been consistent. We fall in and out of it but we often wonder is it still there to come back to. Tahdig delivers a chill yet sad rap song about wondering where some heart is. The beat is steady creating a Hip-Hop vibe.”

“The song has a romantic melody to it in the beginning. Then it goes to a solo EDM. Cyberpop artist Gemfair introduces us to a different sound but the songwriting draws you in until the end. She speaks on being in a lonely world and finding love in the cyber world. ”

“This is a true track for the pop culture. Rafa and Kameko reveal their vulnerability through “Hopeless”. The song takes you through peaceful emotions because they realize and are at peace over what was loss. ”
