Compton native Chris O'Bannon has released the new video for "Raise The Price," which premiered on Rosecrans Ave. The song is from his latest offering Sauce Meets World, which finds Chris employing each of his many skills including producing, songwriting, singing and rapping. The project features fellow rising stars Kalan.FrFr and AZChike. Most recently, Chris was featured on Nef the Pharaoh & 03 Greedo's "Choosy" alongside AllBlack.

Max Frost - "Eleven Days" [Video]

Max Frost released the new video for “Eleven Days” – the second released track off his debut album “GOLD RUSH.” Max recently performed “Eleven Days” along with first single “Good Morning” on Good Morning America. Speaking on the inspiration for “Eleven Days” Max said,

“Last year I took a trip to London for 3 weeks to chase a girl I barely knew…I thought I was in love with this girl I had never even met in person.

Long story short…I realized she was fake and that it wasn’t gonna work out. This was only a week into the trip…I was stuck. I didn’t want to be there. And even though I was the one who ended it with the girl, I still walked around for the next two weeks in a state of heartbreak and in a drunken stooper.

The strange thing about traveling the world is you feel like you could almost be anywhere. You look at time zones and see how its only 5am at home as you’re eating a late lunch. Or how, if you were in Hong Kong, the sun would have long gone down. Time becomes lucid.

This song is about being trapped in “the in-between.” This song is about going across the world to break your own heart. It’s about being a ghost in a faraway place that doesn’t seem real.”

“GOLD RUSH” arrives at all music retailers and streaming services on Friday, October 5th. Max hits the road shortly after the release to embark on “The Gold Rush Tour.” The North American headline tour begins October 9th in Santa Cruz, CA and continues through mid-November. “GOLD RUSH” was executive produced by Michael “Fitz” Fitzpatrick (Fitz and the Tantrums) and mainly produced by Mick Schultz (Rihanna, Jeremih, YG). Earlier in the year, Max made his national TV debut with a performance of breakout single “Good Morning” on Live with Kelly and Ryan.

SG Lewis - "Better" [Video]

Songwriter, producer and musician SG Lewis today shares the video for his collaborative new single ‘Better’ with rising US star Clairo. The result of a chance writing session in LA, the track instantly became a viral hit last month and was labelled “addictive” by Pigeons and Planes” with Hypebeast calling it “the perfect summer jam”.

The innate chemistry the duo shared in the studio has now naturally translated into the fun, care-free video for ‘Better’. Shot in Chicago and produced by Weird Life Films (Ravyn Lenae, Soccer Mommy), ‘Better’ features both artists as they drive around the city in full-length tracksuits in a loving homage to classic Hype William’s directed videos of the later nineties, early noughties.

Speaking on the track, SG says “I played Clairo the instrumental and she jumped on it straight away! The process was so natural, I kept the beat unquantized from the jam as I felt like it gave the record an old disco feel”. The single is the perfect marriage of SG’s signature warm, sunny house production and Clairo’s dreamy vocal delivery. Clairo reflects, "Sam is one of the most talented producers I know. Jamaica's highly-touted musician Chronixx announces a headline show at Alexandra Palace on 11th November 2018 today. Surreal - "Hello" [Video]

Los Angeles emcee Jeremy Ian Thomas also known as Surreal is an emcee’s emcee guaranteed to be solidified as one of hip-hop’s clearest voices. We first heard Surreal on “True Indeed” a collaboration effort between the jazz duo Jay & Soulo otherwise known as The Sound Providers. Surreal’s ability to rock an entire album with no features, covering the bases and basics of life, immediately made him a standout.

It didn’t end there though, in 2006, Surreal released his sophomore project “Future Classic” with DJ Balance under the Hip Hop Is Music imprint. However the emcee who grew up in Tampa Bay Florida has been growing and evolving as well.
