Dawson Gamble - What You Don't Know [Review]

November 20, 2020 by Travis Erwin in Music, Electro Pop, Singer/Songwriter, Commercial

Rating: 4 out of 5

“Some songs win you over simply by feeling real and genuine. Dawson Gamble’s latest, ‘What You Don’t Know’ is one of them.

Starting out soft and vulnerable, the well-written lyrics hook you with their authenticity before the track insiifies and layers in a bit more of a Rock/Pop sound to go with the early singer/songwriter vibe. Though in truth, genre is less important than the erstwhile emotions on a track like this.”

Tony Sergi - Your Heart Has To Go [Review]

November 20, 2020 by Travis Erwin in Music, Commercial

    Rating: 4 out of 5

“Tony Sergi comes in with a nice groove, and Pop kind of sound that takes a quick hard left turn that surprises and hooks you in. Pulling no punches, this energetic groove is one that will have you dancing and wryly smiling.

But perhaps Tony describes it best ... ‘Your Heart Has To Go’ is pretty much a happy break up
song, a middle finger to all the past lovers that screwed you around. An anthem for all those who have been fucked over. ~ Tony ”

.wavrunner - uh huh, i like it [Review]

November 18, 2020 by Travis Erwin in Music, Commercial, Rap

      Rating: 4 out of 5

“Who is ready for some energetic Disco infused Club music? ‘Uh Huh, I like It’ from .wavrunner brings a Rap flow, but feels more like a mash of 70s Disco funk and West Coast Club music than anything else. The groove is magical and the spirit a vibe all of its own. Get on board and get moving with this track.”

        TROY - Undercover [Review]

November 18, 2020 by Travis Erwin in Music, Indie Pop, Electro Pop, Funk, Commercial

        Rating: 4 out of 5

“Love on the sly brings that extra little bit of excitement and this ubeat track from TROY certainly captures that spark and secretive allure with its own tone and vibe.

’Undercover’ leans more Commercial Pop, but does deliver just a hint of a Funk groove that works well. No doubt this is a track that will be shared between covert lovers, but no matter who you are, you can appreciate the passion and energy. ”

Jillian Rossi - So What [Review]

November 18, 2020 by Travis Erwin in Music, Commercial

          Rating: 4 out of 5

“A big bold Pop ballad for every person that has ever felt unworthy of that good, spectacular, or hopeful thing that came their way.

Often, we are each our own worse critics, and we need a different voice to remind us we are worthy or capable, or deserving. Jillian Rossi offers that here in musical form, so if you are feeling any kind of self-doubt, put this track on and remind yourself that you are indeed worthy of everything that comes your way.”

Hrishi - Like A Ghost [Music Video Review]

November 18, 2020 by Kreadiv Kesh in Commercial, Alternative, Music Videos, Lyric Video

            Rating: 5 out of 5

“A twist sound between a boyband and Justine Bieber. Hrishi’s new single ‘Like A Ghost’ is about being surrounded by people but still feeling invisible. The visual is a unique illustration of moments in life using different imagery to stand for feelings and connections. The song is smooth, direct and straight to the point explaining that you can love everyone and still feel like a ghost. ”

Otis Kane - Fight For You [Review]

November 18, 2020 by Kreadiv Kesh in Commercial, Contemporary R&B, Singer/Songwriter

              Rating: 4 out of 5

              “Otis Kane is Soul!!!!

His new single ‘Fight For You’ begins with a passive tone. His tone leads us into him explaining the roller coaster called love. Love is a battle but the ups and downs is what makes love so strong. As he pours his vocals into the song the solo guitar performance leads us into the ending”

Patrik Jean - Consequence [Music Video Review]

November 18, 2020 by Kreadiv Kesh in Music Videos, Commercial

                Rating: 5 out of 5

“Sometimes life is like like a game. We try our best to play regardless of the consequences. Patrik Jean’s new single ‘Consequence’ puts his life in a blueprint. He sings about being hurt and wanting to love but being reminded how much he hates starting over. The visual artistry shows how life can’t always be packed in boxed and sometimes great things break.”

ELEON - Fast Little Getaway (feat. Mayila) [Review]

November 14, 2020 by Travis Erwin in Music, Contemporary R&B, Commercial, Singer/Songwriter

                  Rating: 4 out of 5

“Losing the one you love is never easy, and sometimes they are gone before you even know it. That is what ‘Fast Little Getaway’ is about.

ELEON delivers the early vocals with a smooth R&B groove infused with a bit of Electro Pop stylings, before Mayila comes in with an emotional apology of sorts that lends a different point of view on the pain of heartbreak.”

Olivia Deane - Christmas Without You [Review]

“Olivia Deane delivers a nice soulful, yet appropriately melancholic vibe with this Holiday track about missing that special someone at Christmas time.

’Christmas Without You’ captures the emotion and sadness of missing the one you love and often those feeling are all the more acute as the Holidays set in.”

CHEL is among the proud, the brave, the bold — and on this Soulful Pop track, she makes her ‘Nasty Woman’ proclamations in loud, talented tones that draw a line in the sand for anyone looking for a fight.”

“Having to let the one you love go, not because the love has faded or endured some great betrayal, but rather simply because life and outside circumstances have gotten in the way, is a bitter pill to swallow. That longing brand of emotional pain emits from every verse of Beth De Bacci’s single ‘Loved Like This.’ A tender Pop ballad about doing the right thing — even when it hurts so bad.”

Angelina Jordan - Million Miles [Music Video Review]

November 07, 2020 by Travis Erwin in Lyric Video, Singer/Songwriter, Commercial

                          Rating: 4.5 out of 5

“Sometimes my initial reaction as a reviewer is simply ... WOW! That was the case here and that was before I dove into the bio to discover the artists I was listening to, Angelina Jordan is a mere 14 years old.

The power and depth of talent is stunning at any age, and yes, I was reminded of Adele as I listened, but I dislike such comparisons because while they form a starting point, they can easily define or pigeonhole a new artist and to that is a disservice. So with that in mind let me say ... Angelina Jordan is a star in her own right and ‘Million Miles’ is a big bold track that sweeps you up.

Of course Jordan is no stranger to stardom, as the winner of Norway’s Got Talent at only 8-years-old. Now calling Los Angeles home this young artist certainly does have a ‘Million Miles’ in front of her.”

“A sweet tender love song, not about the euphoria of falling in love, but rather the slow steady burn of a growing love. This track was written as a 10th Anniversary gift from Timothy Ray to his wife.

’Dancing In The Kitchen’ captures the devotion and understanding that only comes with time and that bond of sharing everyday life. And this is a track that couples can certainly join hands and dance together in the kitchen.”

“Here is your chance to catch a rising star and tell your friends you were listening way back when.

Rosie Darling has that rare ability to bring vocal power and keep the tender and emotional edge so that you feel every word even more than you appreciate the big incredible talent. This track merely hints at even more vocal capabilities, but you certainly come away understanding they are in there. More importantly, you come away feeling every last word of this track about the discovery your own emotional capabilities. ”

Otto - Tell Me Something (I Don't Know) [Music Video Review]

November 05, 2020 by Kreadiv Kesh in Commercial, Music Videos

                                Rating: 5 out of 5

“Otto may look young but his talent is everlasting. His debut single ‘Tell Me Something’ gives an antique feel while his love is seen overshadowing him. He admires her and how she makes him smile. Otto adds to the production with a hand clap within a classic beat. ”

Conor Michael Smith - With You In Mind [Review]

October 30, 2020 by Travis Erwin in Music, Hip-Hop, Conscious, Commercial, R&B

                                  Rating: 5 out of 5

“There are a lot of pissed-off angry voices out there and everyone of them brings merit, though Conor Michael Smith brings a passion and ernest that unexpectedly hits harder than most.

The emotions of the production behind him, especially that violin along with a hard hitting flow, really gripped me. Smith is part of a movement in this country that is demang change and this track is one of the anthems for that charge.”

                                    Ella Collier - Cinderella [Review]

October 30, 2020 by Travis Erwin in Music, Pop, Trap, Commercial

                                    Rating: 4.5 out of 5

“Ella Collier offers a darker and more sinister spin of the fairytale with her version of ‘Cinderella.’

Coming with a Trap beat and Pop style vocals, Collier unfurls her take on the timeless tale with an alluring seduction that feels part Circus Ringmaster and part sexy siren as she lures you to lean in and listen to every last word.”

                                      JUICYPEAR - Caught Up [Review]

October 30, 2020 by Travis Erwin in Music, Funk, Electro Pop, Commercial

                                      Rating: 4 out of 5

“Coming with that wavy tranquil West Coast vibe, JUICYPEAR drops this soulful Pop track on us reminding of the power music has over all of our lives.

’Caught Up’ is about those moments you are swept away to another time or place or mood by the music filling your ears. This track brings that power, as well as the observation making it complete the circle of engagement for me as a listener.”

                                        GREYA - Thrive [Review]

October 30, 2020 by Travis Erwin in Music, Electro Pop, Commercial

                                        Rating: 4 out of 5

“Love is hard enough when both parties are fully invested, but sadly many relationships are lopsided in their dedication and resolve. Being stuck in such a situation where the the one you’re committed to only wants to dip their toes in, makes you hope they will one day jump in and swim.

The tough emotional journey of coming to the conclusion you are treading water alone is never easy. GREYA does a masterful job of expressing those emotions in ‘Thrive’ a track about finding your courage and resolve in the face of a one-sided relationship. Powerful vocals and well-established Pop sensibilities carries this track forward and hold the listener for the duration.”
