“Motivation is the power of manifestation. Artist General’s “War Ready” featuring JChosen is a perfect Hip-Hop motivation track. The examples and words he use creates a blue print of you and your goals. He preps you to be war ready for greatness. This nearly 6 minute track will have you empowered and ready to fight the war for success.”
“Kade Fresco drop this low key, yet meaningful flow and it hits with precision. Riding a lyrical build that most, if not all, of us can relate to, Fresco lets the melodic groove work alongside the lyrics to convey emotion and meaning.
The track is all about mood and perspective making it one to listen to over and over again so you can pick up on all the lyrical nuance.”
“Riding a nostalgic, jazzy hip hop vibe, this track by a Hawaiian Grammy winner, and a rapper from the DMV by way of Ghana, is about the neighborhoods they grew up in ‘Back Home.’
The flows are laidback but passionate and genuine and the lyrics feel a bit like a freestyle with genuine emotion backing it all. ”
“A freestyle type track with a nice arrangement behind it, giving the song that extra edge to truly stand out. Bshortt delivers a flow that emotes the passion behind the lyrics and the Jazz infused backing adds an extra verve putting ‘Daydreamin’’ into that next level of tracks for me. The writing is strong as well. and keeps you leaning in in anticipation of the next line.”
“Love is something we all crave and yet there are times we think we’ve found it only to discover the relationship is ‘Poison.’ Sonny Hendrixx deliver a passionate flow that emotes the anger, resentment, and even vulnerability of putting yourself out there and discovering you are in the midst of a toxic relationship that is killing your spirit and resolve.”
“Delivering a melodic flow that hooks and holds, Cam Blair, drops ‘Rain Dance’ on us. The track hits us with an easy groove and build and this infectious rhythm and delivery lends the single an easy to stay on vibe. That construction instills a strong instant connection, but that is not to say the lyrical flow is not intricate and evolved in a way that keeps the song intriguing long past the first listen.”
“Dax never fails to bring the passion and intensity and here, clever wordplay accentuates that given a a strongly written flow that lands its punches. The addition of Snow Tha Product adds some variation to the build and worked to bring this one to life for me. ‘A Lot At Stake’ is a hard hitting track that gives you nuance to think over with each listen.”
“In the face of haters and naysayers, sometimes all we have to hang onto is our our own stubborn determination and personal belief that we can get there. ‘All I Know’ is all about having the confidence and stamina to persevere when others say — give it up.
Dami and Messenger team up here to deliver this chilled vibe and laidback flow and in doing so they have proved any and all naysayers wrong, because they clearly have the talent and resolve to rise above the fray.”
“Repping Nor Cal, Ice Meez delivers his flow over an upbeat tempo that hooks and holds the listener. ‘Mogul’ is about taking the talent you possess, and the drive pushing you and using both to propel yourself beyond what is expected from the merely talented to legendary.
The flow brings energy and verve and the beat is one that will keep your head bobbing and your body moving. A no frills, no nonsense track that hits home with precision.”
“MiQ The Burb Boy comes in with clear purpose and deliberate, slower flow that burns with steady passion before the arrangement takes a harder edge and builds into a fiery and emotional take. The earnest performance and strong writing make for an engaging track.
Add in a sneaky hook to the beat which helps tie the track together in a tangible way, and this single has everything you could want from a song with true punching power.”
“Tyson Trill convey a chill easy going vibe on his latest track, ‘Harmony.’ The track walks a line between Acoustic Pop and a Hip-Hop. The build and delivery are smooth and tranquil and the groove is an easy one to fall in and lose yourself. The peaceful vibes we need just in time for a hectic weekend for most of us.”
“Frank D taps into so much on this track. There is a bit of old school to the flow and delivery, but not so much the track truly feels retro. What it does feel is ... real.
’Mad’ is a track we can all relate to. The world has a way of beating us down and sometimes we have an exact reason for being mad while other we simply wake up that way from the pressure of the world we live in. This flow makes you feel like you are not alone in these struggles and that is what the best music does no matter the emotion being explored.”
“Love is contagious and addicting but in Chadster’s new single with 6LACK it is sinful. The two explain how it can be wrong to love the wrong person but also feel good at the same time. It leaves you on a high and takes you away as if you are hypnotized.”
“Always aiming to make “music of the future,” Chadster’s sound is fresh, innovative, and out of this world. His alter ego is even the self-proclaimed “president of the universe.” Chadster is quickly rising and has sights set on world domination. Stay tuned-in on this promising young artist.”
“Ottomatick drops ‘Wait A Minute,’ a track that immediately establishes a mood with haunting vocals that he accentuates with his deliberate flow and writing. A track that speaks in multiple voices to deliver emotion and intrigue. The flow here isn’t fast or furious but it dies come with passion and intent the give and take between the two deliveries adds to the feeling of being swept along. ”
“LA artist, Kellen Joseph offers up this emotive and vulnerable Rock track dealing with grief. The emotive vocal talent brings to life the well-written track that instills the sense of loss and confusion when the entire world seems to be moving on and you are still stuck in that place of sorrow.
This track has just a hint of Hip-Hop vibe, but really is more in line with the Alternative Rock sound of the late 90s or early 2000’s.”
“Ronnie Rage has the talent to pull off a soulful delivery that is both vulnerable and defiant at the same time. Conveying complex emotions is tough, even if you tackle one, but ‘MazeRunner’ is the rare track that brings a varied nuance that comes through in every listen in a slightly different way. The flow is clean and pure and borders on an RB type groove at times, but still instills a modern Hip-Hop vibe that makes Rage stand out from the crowd. ”
“Karras drops this track which conveys a nice October vibe both in its lyrical content and the brooding enchanted vibe of the beat and build. The tension is palpable and while this track might feel wrong for a sunny June day it is perfect for establishing those Halloween thoughts.
The construction has an old school vibe at times, but overall this one still feels contemporary and timed well for its release.”
“The energy of this track caught me straight off, and then the vocal flow came with enough emotion to carry the day once that initial energy settled in. The confidence in the delivery, and the fact he’s clearly having fun dropping this flow makes it a pleasure to listen to.
This is one I’ll be adding to several playlists to have at the ready when I need that pick me up groove or to settle in and let the music wash away the day. ”
“Bars for days. J. Oso drops this track which eschews a traditional hook, in favor of a steady barrage of hard hitting lines and each one lands and delivers a punch that fits perfectly with the mood and attitude of the writing. The beat production gets out of the way for the most part, but does add an underlying attitude which helps bring out the verve of the flow.”
“LibFOREIGN delivers ‘HUNNIT PROOF’ with precision and passion — a combination that is not easy to achieve. The flow hits with emotion and meaning, but stays within itself to establish an easy groove that is varied and deliberate.
The writing shows confidence as well and comes with a deliberate swagger that sets off the track. I gave the track multiple listens and found new nuances with each go.”
