“Tyson Trill convey a chill easy going vibe on his latest track, ‘Harmony.’ The track walks a line between Acoustic Pop and a Hip-Hop. The build and delivery are smooth and tranquil and the groove is an easy one to fall in and lose yourself. The peaceful vibes we need just in time for a hectic weekend for most of us.”
“Zo delivers power and passion and of course talent on this track. “Never Meant’ is the track Stevie Nicks and Florence and the Machine would team up to create and the emotion is tangible in every single line. The passion lands with razor sharp talons and grabs on like a raptor intent to instill its will. That might sound harsh, but this track is anything but. Simply intense and purposeful.”
“An ode to gritty teenage romance, ‘Ireland in 2009’ is packed with soaring vocals, anthemic production and Caroline Romano’s signature unfiltered lyricism. “It’s a story of falling in love in car parks and waking up in your school clothes,” she says. “It’s about being far too young to know anything at all and the all-or-nothing emotions that come with juvenescence.”
For me the song simply has heart and emption and a genuine ”
“Sneaky clever writing and attitude lift this track from Maximillian Thanksalot above the fray. ‘Toe on the Trigger’ is an in your face Pop Punk track that blends intense lyrics and hard guitar licks to create a vibe that carries the day.
This is the kind of track you have to give a few listens to pick up on everything being laud down but you won’t mind at all. A true mood setter. ”
“A different kind of break up song that will make you smile, but also nod along if you’ve even been there in that situation of watching a relationship dissipate.
LA band, An Adolescent Tragedy has a decided West Coast sound that has enough of a Punk vibe to be categorized that way, but still brings a bit of the 90s sound to the mix to make the track have a Commercial feel as well.”
“Indie Rock perhaps even more so that most genres, is about capturing an attitude and vibe that establishes both a song and the band’s identity. The Late Greats are new to me, so this is the first track I’ve heard and already, I feel like I have a sense who and what the band is. For me, listening to this song was like getting to know a new person that I straight away think is going to be a very good friend. ”
“Charlotte Sands could very well be the next big Pop Punk sensation. ‘Every Guy Ever’ is a track that will speak to anyone who has ever ventured out in the cold dark dating world. Yeah, here it is pointed to idiot guys but we all know it is tough for any gender to find that person who is honest, trustworthy and right for them. The emotion and energy of this track ring true and comes with several amen type moments. ”
“I instantly fell for the groove on $cholah’s single ‘Attention.’ I did feel like the emotions was rushed by the tempo at times, but the smooth vocal tones and good vibes overcame my sensation that the song was rushing by and allowed me to settle in and find my groove. With each listen I grew to appreciate and connect with the track more and I can safely say this is a a track I won’t get tired of hearing over and over again. ”
“Sometimes we try to escape from the memories but the memories are still in our head. Liam O’Brien’s new song “US” is about not wanting to think about someone but there are triggers. Triggers that have you thinking of them. Using a fan to represent the song is pure classic. Most fans spend time in their room singing anyway.”
“Rhys was born in Portland but moved to Sweden when she was only ten years old. The influence of both American and Swedish Pop can be found in her sound and the tender emotion is palpable in every single line. This particular track reminded me of Pink a great deal but that is not to say Rhys doesn’t have her own unique spin and delivery. The writing is also strong and in it you can truly lose yourself into the world of the singer. ”
“It is easy to write those breakup songs when the heartache is fresh and real, but what happens once the artist gets over the breakup and is then forced to relive it by performing the slate of songs over and over. The artistic struggle is a complex one and this song has a bit of fun with that by bringing to the forefront the meaning behind such tracks. Tedious & Brief do a masterful job of putting a unique twist on a well-worn subject. ”
“Caroline Romano drops ‘Oddities and Prodigies’ on us, and the track is bound to remind some of Pink as it delivers the same brand of energetic talent that hooks and pulls you along. The vocal talent makes the track, but the writing is strong and the hook keeps the listener engaged. If I had any negative critique at all it, is that the track is short at two minutes and I was left wanting more. ”
“Cami Petyn has a sound and attitude that feels like Gwen Stefani meshed with Miley Cyrus. Petyn is fed up with entitled men and their self-inflated egos and ideas they can take what they want. ‘Psycho Bitch’ offers up in your face lyrics and attitude that lets you knew she is in charge and the world better step back and recognize that fact. Yes a world full of arrogant men who have convinced themselves they are far more important than they actually are. This is Pop but that doesn’t mean the lyrics do not have something vital to say.”
“Justus Bennetts offers up this short, but pointed track that pretty much says everything we’ve all thought when truly pissed off. Eventually we all find that shitty person who does us wrong and this is the track for that moment!
The flow is light and fun despite the dark tone of the words being delivered and that is what makes this track a fun one. So go ahead and save this one back until the next time you need to ‘dedicate’ it to that someone special.”
“Is the idea of a perfect romance and relationship real, or more of mythological utopia that lives on in ‘The Hypothetical’ daydreams of our brain? That is the question Caroline Romano unleashes with this high energy almost demanding track.
The lyrical hooks and razor edged melody slice through the psyche on this track making it an attitude and vibe as much as a commentary on how we fantasize our relationships going.”
“Jackson+Sellers reminds me of Lucinda Williams both in sound and attitude. That take no shit, take no prisoners vibe rises to the top of this jaded, yet righteous track.
’Waste Your Time’ is an ode to whatever brand of idiocy you’ve dealt with, though most people will apply the sentiments towards a bad relationship. The rowdy edge to this track brings it to life and makes the pointed commentary land hard right on the chin of the time wasters of this world. ”
“April Jai has created a track that is the perfect response to that ex who comes sniffing around trying to hook back up. A smooth easy groove with one foot in in a Retro R&B groove and the other in contemporary Pop. The result is an Adult Contemporary singer/songwriter type of track with emotional depth and meaning for everyone that has had to navigate the past and present at the same time.”
“Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
“Elsewhere! has dropped the new single, “Overrated,’ which is an ironic title, because the song and talent are anything — but over rated.
Coming with a pure Indie Pop sound, the track has a bit of Bieber vibe vocally, and comes with a nice groove behind it that conjures comparisons to The 1975. This is an easy build to fall in and join if you feel like belting out the words along with the performance.”
“Freddie Long is ‘Addicted To Your Love.’ Maybe not you specifically, but he’s addicted to someone’s love and he’s belting out this up-tempo Pop track for both them and you and because the track is entertaining and easy to fall in and sing along with that is a very good thing.
Revel in both his love and talent, by adding this track to you summer, or energetic playlists to feel the vibes.”
“The artistic delivery is phenomenal. Groz introduces us to a subtle story as a young girl then delivers her strength vocally as a woman. With the ballet dancers guiding her throughout her new single “Save Me” is about sticking around over the years because you never know when someone may need you. ”
