Rating: 3.5 out of 5
“DP Rilla lyrically tell us his “Life Story”. His verses are descriptive in telling a story from beginning to end. ”

“Irish band, In Their Thousands offers a vocal delivery that slices like a surgeon’s scalpel from that first high hard note, but the deepest cut (sorry Sheryl Crow) on this one comes with the writing.
Lyrically, ‘Sit and Breathe’ delivers operating room precision and life saving emotions. That might sound like hyperbole, but a well crafted song, performed with genuine emotion can break through and be a guiding light for those whom it speaks to.
’Sit and Breathe’ is just such a song.”
“Artist Trip appears as a boy wonder but when he opens his mouth he proves to us he is a lyricist. Trip delivers an inspirational message in his new single “Changed.”
“The melody lands with you first. Then the vocals arrive bringing that extra emotion. And finally the lyric settle in conjuring all kids of thoughts as you digest their meaning .
Together, these three components compliment each other to infuse this single with emotion and energy.
Pure Indie Rock emotion! ”
“Xzandra flat out brings it with this heartfelt, and emotionally-charged single about her journey through foster care.
Every word brings forth her scars, and her vocal delivery made me feel those hardships. A sad reality brought home via artful songwriting and a stellar performance.”
“What’s not to love about Ice Cube and a slew of music royalty busting loose live and kicking it old school with multi-genre infused roll of “New Funkadelic.’
Party time has arrived!”
“Smooth, soulful, and packing an emotional punch, ‘7’ takes you on a ride through the streets via a video, but the magic here is such that you don’t need the visual of the video to take that same trip. The lyrics and delivery are capable of taking you there all by themselves, so sit back, listen up, and enjoy the ride.”
“The melody did the heavy lifting here by connecting me to the single emotionally before the lyrics fully soaked in.
A well-crafted song that gets better and deeper ingrained in my psyche with each listen.”
“Played song once, then ran it back one more time.
Morriscode has a new way to get the bag and if you want to know what it is then press play. ”
“If you can listen to a song and start singing along before it is over then that is a song with potential. “Faded On You” not only has great instrumentals and vocals but the delivery of the track is sure to have you faded in its melody.”
“ Tell us what is the 10th picture in your camera roll. TgiFLY has us looking in our phone to see if we have more nude or phone pics in our phone in his new single “Camera Roll” He delivers well written lyrics over a nice upbeat flow.”
“The instrumental mixture provides a melodic sound from R&B and Electronic music. Conrad Clifton lyrically floats throughout the whole song.”

The Brooklyn-based electronic artist has also announced his fourth album 'GET YOUR WHOLE LIFE', out June 7th. Creative choices like changing tempo halfway through a track - or making two songs out of one - are becoming familiar staples for Conrad (i.e. “Kneel da Grass / Tight Son”), but this time he enlists the help of singer/songwriter Linda Diaz. The sultry vocalist brings a warm, silky tone to Conrad’s evolving soundscape. Part one “Everything” is a sexy downtempo love note, while part two “I’ll Be Your” is an uptempo dance vibe, oozing with confidence. “I stumbled onto Linda’s acapella videos on Instagram, and immediately fell in love with her voice. Once I had something worthy of a collab, I hit her up. I was so excited when she agreed to work with me, because I could already tell how amazing the song would be, before she ever started writing”, says Clifton. “I was worried that the song structure and tempo change could be overwhelming to write to, but she had fun with it, and wrote from a personal experience in her life.” Conrad continues, “I can’t believe this is only our first song together!” You’ll definitely be hearing more from this duo. “A shiny and bright look at the psychology of social media. The lyrics are dead on and the melody is full of surprises with even a homage to a little disco sound thrown in.
A fun pop song that carries a message that we all need to hear.”
“Strong vocals demand your attention from the very beginning. The power of the opening is never quite duplicated, but lyrically that works well in that we the listener, are left with sobering thoughts as we digest the beat, melody, and words.”
“Love is a complicated game, and ‘Go Have Fun At Your Party’ nails the emotion of a relationship that isn’t quite right, but is close enough that it is hard to let go.
It is the kind of song that brings out that old heartache, misguided hope, and tarnished love that we’ve all been part of.
It is the kind of song that is real, and raw, and allows us all to understand we are not alone in these experiences.”
“A nice blend of punk and rock vocals gives this single a well-rounded sound. Lyrically, I dug in to find emotions ‘Still in My Head,’ which is exactly what songs are supposed to do.”
“It is perhaps ironic that a well-written song about addiction is ... well addicting, but thus is the case with The Sweet Kill’s latest single ‘Powerless.’
The songwriting here is not complex or subtle, but it is engaging and honest and it doing so it speaks directly of a problem that appears easy to solve but never is.
This is music that captures a slice of the human condition perfectly well. ”
“Bordering on Punk, both in sound and sensibilities, ‘Gum’ bursts the bubble on fun in this well-written diatribe.
Delagoon is fed up and they want the world to know it!”
“Damian Lynn has given us a single that hooks you with an immediate urgency. And yet, the track also makes you ‘Wait’ just as the title suggests.
The melody does a masterful job of playing off the emotion of the lyrics and that pleading bridge arrives at the perfect time to add to the strong feelings of this one. ”
“Dear Diary,
To be a princess is every girls dream. To be the princess of Compton is far from a dream but a reality for artist Azjah. With a strong force and team behind her Azjah drops her debut album “Princess Diaries”. The 12 track album includes two familiar tracks “Spotlight” and “Time for it” but also gives you insight of her daily life and experience so instead of reading her diary just take a listen. ”
