Sea-Red - Alaska [Review

Rating: 3 out of 5

You know a record is good when you feel like you already know it after the first listen. Not because it sounds like anything else but because it resonates at just the right frequency. Alaska is rough around the edges, its raw its sheer emotion. It’s poetic in a way where you don’t quite know what its about but you feel exactly whats going on.

Chevy Quis - Big Ben [Review]

Rating: 3 out of 5

Chevy just made one to send the clubs up all 2023. This record is effortless but still witty.

The Sound - Skin [Review]

Rating - 4 out of 5

This record is vulnerable, raw and honest. The way it starts to subdued and builds into a crescendo of angst and passion is expertly executed.

ROREY - Mirror [Music Video Review]

Rating 3 out of 5

You ever have a chorus you just can’t get out of your head? Ever just wanna make a bad decision and feel sexy whilst you do it? Mirror by ROREY is all of that and more. Taken from ROREY’s Apt 7D Ep, this record made to be screamed at the top of your lungs whilst you check yourself out in the mirror like “Damn I look good... even when I’m a mess.

A1 Beanz x Benny The Butcher - Mailman [Review]

Rating 4 out of 5

‘We got hand grenades that look like Don Julio bottles’ I MEAN! This record is hearing a lion snarling with a ruby incrusted crown on. Its mean but sounds so royal and expensive. A1 & Benny trade quotable lines whilst painting a vivid picture of their lives. This is one of those, leave on loop and drive 2 hours type moods.

Tinsley - Just Three Words [Review]

Rating 3 out of 5

Picture the scene. You’re in your room, you’re pining for an unrequited love, and as your brushing your hair in the mirror this record comes on and that simple hairbrush becomes the microphone and your room the stage. Thats how this record makes me feel. It taps into that early love, that first really pining for someone and all you want to hear is “I love...” well you know the 3 words.

Will Linley - Tough (The Girls Song) [Video Review]

Rating 3 out of 5

Will Linley delivers a slice of near perfect summer pop. The interpolation of “girls just wanna have fun” by pop ICON Cindy Lauper brings a fresh take on the phrase.
