Moneysignev - Miss Me [Music Video Review]

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

This chorus is infectious and the beat is made to get sturdy to. Money has so much swagger and charm in his delivery you can’t help but caught in the wave of the record. He makes you believe every word and just handed us the anthem for that in-coming winter break up. This is one of those ones.

Que K - Yaself (Reason LLC) [Review]

Rating: 2.5 out of 5

Que sounds like a young man with something to say but he hasn’t quite found his voice yet. Yaself is filled with passion and some sharp lines but its not quite a smooth ride... quite yet. Having something to say is the hardest part of being an artist and Que has that in spades this record is just missing a little finesse and fine tuning. Give it time and we’re gonna be talking about Que.

Bad Flamingo - White T-Shirt [Review]

Rating: 3.5 out of 5

Bad Flamingo are so masterful at making you see a moment through their eyes. They make you smell the room, ear the background noise and most importantly feel that exact feeling they were feeling. This song is dripping in fresh country swagger with production that never overpowers the sultry vocals. With lyrics like “you still fit me like the best damn blue jeans”, this record is poetic in the best ways. Now excuse me whilst I order a pack of white tees.

Michael Isaak - Okay With This [Review]

Rating: 3 out of 5

Michael Isaak lays himself bare with an honesty that would make most uncomfortable. With lyrics that feel like Michael is trying to convince himself as well as his lover that they’ll be ok, I don’t know who needs to believe it more. With blue tape acting like a totem from inception, Michael is fixated on that safe space this brother made for him all those years ago.

Dvalor Ft. Jurdan Bryant, Xiolynn, RIVA - Fallen Angels [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

This is head nod music at its finest. This has that hypnotic yet effortless cool of a certain iconic New Jersey rap group with its slick yet heady bars and psychedelic looping beat. The sung moment of “I ain’t gon let you fall” is hits you in feelings you didn’t even know you had. *Chefs Kiss*

LION - Not Your Fetish [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

This record is FIERCE. It pulses in a way that its impossible to not move your body and its lyrics are razor sharp and to the point. The amount of times I’ve had someone be like “OMG i love your hair, can I touch it”... NO!!! ‘I don’t care if you’re curious’ is a line I think a lot of people will resonate. What this record does so well is still keep its swagger and sexiness whilist talking about issues we all face i this world. I expect to hear this on every dance floor *I’m looking at you DJ’s*

Kevian Kraemer - Restart [Review]

Rating: 3 out of 5

Restart is a slice of innocence that only comes from that pain of your first love. Kevian’s lyrics and delivery are so conversational you almost feel a part of their love story. Kevian is truly a storyteller and paints a truly vivid picture of what it feels like when you ground beneath you crumbles when you thought it was solid ground.

Mariposa4x Ft. Fluke - New Contra [Review]

Rating: 3 out of 5

This beat could play for 8 hours straight and my head would still nod just as hard. The hypnotic chopped & screwed hook is infectious and each rapper brings their A game on the verses. The record is far from polished which I think is part of the charm. It feels raw but smooth, untamed but never out of control. It sits in that rare space of turn up, chill house party & long drive... thats hard to do!

JamesBetaMax - Mystical [Review]

Rating: 2.5 out of 5

Skipping experimental production, a catchy chopped & screwed hook and laid back rap... Jamesbetamax is cooking. The raps let this one down a little but this artist is onto something fresh. Far from perfect there is enough to hear (more importantly, feel) in this record to know when he really dials into the sound he wants to create he’s gonna take the world by storm. Watch this space.
