Kelaska - Honey [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“Breakups are maybe the best fodder for songs that there is. Raw emotions and heartache have given us some great and memorable songs and now, Kelaska delivers another great title hitting that theme. ‘Honey’ offers that sweet taste of revenge in Sythnpop glory and so much of what is said mirrors thoughts we’ve all had in this situation.

Despite hitting some familiar ground the arrangement and lyrical makeup blends with vocal talent to make this track stand out and resonate. ”

Roses & Revolutions - Something Real [Review]

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

“We all want to feel and experience something real. This track was specifically written during quarantine by artists missing the energy and emotion of live shows after being relegated to playing for faceless audiences over the computer, the lyrical content has a universal message we can all relate to and appreciate.

This is a songwriter’s ballad, a heartfelt pouring out of emotion that truly transcends gerne and simply is a meaningful and magical song, timeless in sound and appeal. ”

Bonnie The Planet - Ariel [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“I loved the writing of this track above all else but that is not to say the vocal talent doesn’t shine as well. There is an honest almost conversational vibe to the lyrical build and the emotive delivery feels every bit as genuine.

Dark and light at the same time this single really simply felt honest and true the way few artists can pull off. Add in a unique vocal tone and songwriting that didn’t really hit me as similar to things I’ve heard before and I was hooked by the talent and uniqueness. ”

Wes Linden - Toe the Line [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“A sports anthem that would feel right at home in a videogame soundtrack or in any arena or stadium. From the court tot he field, Wes Linden delivers a hard hitting flow that establishes a hook and rhythm right from the start. Lyrically the track has enough to hold you, but really it is the hook and vibe that carries the track alongside the vocal talent.”

Gwyn Love x LA+CH - good luck rly [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“Gwyn Love has the kind of emotive voice that hooks you from the first word. This track has some Pop Punk elements that have a 90s nostalgia feel but also some Contemporary Pop vibes that make it feel modern and timely. Almost in the vein of Taylor Swift collabs with Green Day. Well-written and sneakily pointed the track keeps you leaning in and eager for the next line. ”

The Moniker - Thank You for the Summer [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“It’s summer and we all love a good summer anthem. The Moniker ‘s latest single “Thank You For The Summer” is about dreams, fun, and the sun of course. When winter comes and goes the excitement of the things you can do in the summer is a breath of fresh air.”

Maria Krass- Let Me In [Music Video Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“Maria Krass’s latest single “Let Me In” is emotional but tells a story. A story of allowing someone to help you when you feel alone and like you have no one to talk to. Before you give up you have to allow someone to help you especially if they really care about your well being.”

Josh A - "SOBER (ft. Neffex)" [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“This hard-hitting track takes a look at what it feels like to be stuck in the heavy mud of addiction. Personal responsibility is one thing, but the systemic problem created by a capitalistic society is the culprit in the cross hairs here of this flow which blends Rap and an Alternative Rock style to deliver the message. This is a song that has the power to make people stop and think about this problem and the people fighting to stay above ground.”

Kenny Sharp - Good Gemini [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“A fun honest track about the intricacies of a relationship and how an observant and caring partner can simply know what’s going on. The track is light, but still impactful and simply feels genuine in ways few songs pull off. Kenny Sharp believes what he is singing and that comes through in every line and moment.

’Good Gemini’ is the kind of song that might never pull in the masses but will instill a deep connection with those who take the time and truly feel the lyrics and nuance of the performance. An artful track one might say.”

ANDI - Devil's Work [Review]

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

“This new track starts out feeling a bit like the musical version of the teen Classic, The Breakfast Club but for those who have never seen the classic movie here is a bit from her publicist about the track ...

Andi’s new track, ‘Devil’s Work,’ is a piano-driven ballad ruminating on the heartbreak that comes from not feeling worthy. Andi’s vocals soar as her yearning falsetto lingers with the weight of her words. Not just a reflection but a call to action, Andi’s “Devil’s Work” speaks directly to those struggling with their mental health and self-acceptance.

Andi goes into detail below:

’This song was inspired by the lack of open conversation about mental health. So many people portray perfect lives online yet are struggling behind the scenes. The lyric, “Her reflection shows her ribcage but she thinks she weighs too much,” portrays the reality of this day in age - especially on social media. There is a beauty standard that is so unattainable that young girls and boys are unable to see themselves clearly. I want this song to help people get through tough times that feel impossible to get through.

The line, “magazines have editors and makeup does the devils work,” is another metaphor for social media setting unhealthy standards. You aren’t seeing the editing of the pictures, posing, fake lighting; you’re just getting the final product. This is so unhealthy for young boys and girls.”

Redwoods - On The Weekend [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“Straight up Rock and Roll energy from the very beginning! Redwoods is delivering that supercharge brand of rock that bands tend to shy away from for some reason. here, “On The Weekend’ is all about getting our there and having a good time. Just letting yourself enjoy things as they come. Like a blend of old school Loverboy meets to Foo Fighters. ”

aedie - Rundown [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“The struggle is real when you are landlocked and craving to feel those sweet rollicking waves under your board. This track is an ode to the surfing road trip and the melodic groove is a vibe without a doubt.

Add it to your playlist and come along for the ride. Bask in the tasty waves of this track as you ‘Rundown’ to the ocean along with aedie and his crew.”

Drew Schueler x Kiki Halliday - Ruins [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“This duet is heavy on both emotion and talent. Drew Schueler and Kiki Halliday deliver emotive vocals to this well-written tracks about how we tend to linger far too long in relationship even when there has been irreparable damage to the foundation.

’Ruins’ is the perfect metaphor and this track truly brings out the nuances and layers of the human condition under such transformative times.”

Ice Meez - Swim [Music Video Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“A smooth R&B/Rap blend for the warm summer days and those sexy poolside parties. Ice Meez and Trill Lee team on this track to deliver a soulful groove that hits as hard lyrically as it slides easily through the ears melodically.

Get out there with a drink in your hand a the sun on your face and ‘Swim,’ but don’t spill that beverage when your gliding to the groove.”

Oliver Nelson - Long Summer Nights (feat. Lilla Vargen) [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“A soft vulnerable track that hit me like Adele, if she had been a Pop Diva in the 80’s.

Oliver Nelson and Lilla Vargen combine forces to bring this engaging track to your ears. A track that would be perfect for the quiet montage after a break up in a Rom Com, ‘Long Summer Nights’ is an sensitive ride that pulls at the heart strings. ”

Bad Taste x Farmboy Slim - cactus dayclub [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“Bad Taste and Farmboy Slim team to deliver this fun, prickly ride. There are retro vibes of the Beastie Boys and a bit of techno Fatboy Slim Funk vibes as well, but the track really has that eccentric feel that is tough to pin down.

The LA brothers created the track after a psychedelic experience in the desert and you can tell in the best ways that it came from a freethinking mindset. A fun track with a twist and sharp pointed poke at every turn. Get ready to move and smile and reflect a bit as well.”

Kate Yeager - Are You Sure We Just Met? [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“Written and inspired over Zoom calls amid the pandemic this track is about that instant connection and falling in love fast. Sometimes the spark is too bright to ignore and this track does a great job of capturing that in a diary kind of candid openness that feels natural and true. Just like the way it feels when you know without a doubt how you feel about someone else. ”

Two Phase Commit - Sometimes [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“This is the kind of Alt Rock song you don’t hear as much these days, but fans of Alice in Chains and Soundgarden will find it easy to dial in and connect with the track. All will others because the single offers a timeless set of vocals that is lacking in today’s charts. Talented and emotive, this build holds the listener tight and keeps them leaning in. The melody and musicianship are every bit as strong.

The hard edges make this one easy to love. ”

Neville - VINCENT VAN GOGH [Review]

Rating: 4 out of 5

“An intriguing song on the vocal talent and arrangement alone, but that is not all Neville and her single, ‘VINCENT VAN GOGH’ offers. The writing is sharp, and makes it’s point by highlighting the unnecessary and stupid challenges that women face in society.

This is a Pop track with some Electro vibes to it. A track you can move to or reflect on, and either way it offers nice attitude and a bit of verve that makes it truly come alive.”
