Fitzgerald weighs in on the track saying ... ‘This song represents some of my childhood and things I went through, I had suicidal thoughts and attempts when I was younger and it’s kind of like my way of releasing that pain now through this sound, remembering how it was and how I thought at the time, it’s like me saying it to myself.’

Despite the heavy inspiration of the track, the single never feels overwrought, and it can simply be enjoyed as a smooth groove and entertaining song to brighten your world. ”
