CRIS STREETZ -Night time [Music Vide Review]

February 16, 2023 by Kreadiv Kesh

Rating: 3.5 out of 5

“I like the vibe of the beat. Cris Streetz “Night Time” is about about coming a live and having a good time when night time hit. The color elements shows no matter where you are its always a vibe. ”

Davy Fresh x Uptown XO To Kill A Superhero [Music Video Review]

February 16, 2023 by Kreadiv Kesh

    Rating: 4 out of 5

“To Kill A Superhero is an emotional yet direct song. The track has a Snoop Dog melody to it but is very poetic at the same time. Davy Fresh X Uptown XO creates a relaxed yet deep vibe with this”

Ceara Cavalieri - Bad Thing [Music Review]

February 15, 2023 by Travis Erwin in Music, Commercial, Pop

      Rating: 3.5 out of 5

“Pop with attitude has dominated lately especially from the talented female artists dominating the charts. To that end, Ceara Cavalieri has joined the fray with ‘Bad Thing,’ a track that is easy to sing along with and chant like a mantra for anyone looking to draw lines in the sand.

Lyrically, I did want a bit more but I could not deny the infectious beat and chorus so being left wanting more here was far from a dealbreaker for me.”

        Savage334 - Diamonds [Music Review]

February 15, 2023 by Travis Erwin in Music, Rap

        Rating: 4 out of 5

“The intro hit me with Rihanna, ‘We Found Love’ vibes though once Savage334 dropped in with that deliberate and direct flow, the track stood all on its own.

Lyrically, the blows land with emotion and grit and the build kept me leaning in for every last word.

’Diamonds’ unleashes its meaning and intent rather with a clear sparkle, though the nuances and inflections make it a track you can listen to over and over again and still discover new emotions along the way. ”

M'Lynn - Safety Net [Music Review]

February 15, 2023 by Travis Erwin in Music, Neo-Soul, Contemporary R&B, Adult Contemporary

          Rating: 3.5 out of 5

“A smooth and easy groove combines with a steady rhythm to keep this track moving with ease and grace. The vocal talent is silky and tender, and instills a nice romantic vibe.

Lyrically, I did crave a bit more, but even with that, this is a track I could listen to for years to come. An apt mood setter, and affirmation of the idea that everything feels right when you are secure and stable in your love.”

Frank Dennis - West [Music Review]

February 14, 2023 by Travis Erwin in Music, Rap, Hip-Hop

            Rating: 4 out of 5

“Frank Dennis drops this moody and brooding flow that sets a melancholic tone right from the start. The writing is sharp, and the lines land with a deliberate flow that sights in its targets, and hits the mark with emotional punch. I like the stripped down value as it allows the intent to land unimpeded. ”

Ricky Davaine - Metamorphosis [Music Video Review]

February 10, 2023 by Travis Erwin in Music, Rap, Hip-Hop, Conscious

              Rating: 4 out of 5

“Ricky Davaine drops this in your face yet melodic groove that tell it like it is. ‘Metamorphosis’ is about recognizing the user and abuser and takers of the worlds and changing to protect yourself and your future.

The lyrical flow is dead on and the tone works well for the message being delivered. The track does a good job of straddling a coupe different vibes and gene lines and in doing so creates its own brand of sound. ”

Ava Della Pietra - Happy For You [Music Video Review]

February 10, 2023 by Travis Erwin in Music, Indie Pop, Singer/Songwriter, Adult Contemporary

                Rating: 3.5 out of 5

“Ava Della Pietra has the kind of talent that immediately commands your attention. Of course her stellar vocals are not Ava’s only talent, as this Broadway actress is no stranger to the spotlight. The theatrical influence does come through in her vocal style, though not at the sacrifice of the Indie Pop vibe that also conjures thoughts of Taylor Swift at times.

’Happy For You’ is an emotional journey well worth taking. ”

Bright Kelly - Shake Til the Fever is Gone [Music Review]

February 05, 2023 by Travis Erwin in Music, Singer/Songwriter, Folk, Indie Pop

                  Rating: 4 out of 5

“Bright Kelly offers up an emotive Indi Folk track that has hints of Springsteen, John Prine, and a more obscure but equally talented Tom Russell. ‘Shake Til the Fever is Gone’ is not the kind of Commercial track we generally feature but is the kind of song that is honest and genuine and speak to the heart. A songwriter’s ode to acceptance I guess you might say, the track is one that delivers on its emotions with purpose. ”

Jake Knox - Jake is Dead (Head Underwater) [Music Review]

February 03, 2023 by Travis Erwin in Music, Ska

                    Rating: 4 out of 5

“Jake Knox gives us a rocking Ska track about climbing out of the pits of despair. We all get in those low mental spots and how we respond can not only determine our future trajectory but can shorten or lengthen these buts of despair. This is the kind of track that reminds we are not alone in an entertaining fashion and can help us to pick up and move on when we need to. Knox describes it as ‘the most personal song he’s ever written’ and in that passion, listeners will find their own relevance. ”

Jenn Howard - Microphone [Music Review]

January 30, 2023 by Travis Erwin in Singer/Songwriter, Adult Contemporary, Americana

                      Rating: 4 out of 5

“Jenn Howard offers up a bit of New Orleans flair on this track that falls between a funky Jazz sound and a singer/songwriter vibe. Maybe you could call this Americana if hard-pressed to place the track within a single genre, but either way the song has soul and heart and comes with one of those melodies that gets down in your bones and makes you move. Joined by Ivan Neville, this one reminds me of my nights down on Frenchman Street in NOLA.”

The Scarlet Opera - Big City Thing [Music Video Review]

January 25, 2023 by Travis Erwin in Music Videos, Commercial, Rock

                          Rating: 5 out of 5

“There is something about The Scarlett Opera that puts me in mind of Queen and while it is hard to pinpoint exactly, I think it is a bold uniqueness that simply feels like freedom. Freedom of convention, freedom rules, and freedom of spirit that can only come with you create art for yourself first and an audience second. ‘Big City Thing’ is a flamboyant celebration of artistic freedom that gets in your ears and then in your soul.

Rock and Roll with flair and verve and a total disregard for what anybody thinks about that.”

’Come Home’ is a call for those who have wandered off path and need a safe haven. The emotive vocal style and musical build combine to instill hope while still maintaining an edge of anxiety which gives the track an added sense of credibility and resonance.”

The soaring vocal talent is accompanied by an emotive delivery and passion that is tangible throughout the track. I felt every word of this track and will be adding it to a number of playlists.”

Shantaia - Know You [Music Video Review]

January 25, 2023 by Travis Erwin in Music Videos, Country, Commercial

“It is not often that a Pop Country track lands for me, but Shantaia deliver this track with an emotive strength that lands with genuine emotional resonance that transcends genre and rises above the fray of Mainstream Country. ‘Know You’ has an almost 90’s Country feel that reminds me of the days when Shania, Martina, Trisha, and Faith dominated the Country landscape. ”

Paul Cook & The Chronicles - Somebody Else [Music Review]

                                  Rating: 3.5 out of 5

“Memories often start benign enough but if we have regrets and pain associated those same memories can make our mind fall into chaos and anxiety. This track follows that same path with a nice gentle entry before building into a bit of ordered madness. And in doing so, the writing perfectly captures how many pf us deal with this sorts of mental trips. I was left craving more which is both good and bad I suppose.”

Lorelei Marcell x Hardcastle - Flashbacks [Music Review]

                                      Rating: 4.5 out of 5

“Art is often born of heartache and despair and this track certainly has that feel. ‘Flashbacks’ is all about reflecting on the past and dealing with the mix of regrets and missteps we all make. The back and forth nature of the two sets of vocals play well off each other and makes the emotion truly tangible int he way few Pop songs manage to pull off. ”

                                        Songbird - Stubborn [Music Review]

January 13, 2023 by Travis Erwin in Music, Commercial
“Stubbornness can be a good thing when it comes in the form of determination. Songbird highlights that aspect in ‘Stubborn’ a track about not giving in when problems arise and trusting in love to carry your forward no matter what. Stubborn love is what it takes for any relationship to survive and that along with an infectious energy carries this track forward and makes it oh so relevant. ”
