“The track truly took off for me with the tempo shift around :35 seconds in, though the initial build was intriguing enough to hold me until the song came alive. The back and forth tempo and vocal delivery is well crafted, and the overall track is uplifting and true to the human spirit.
Kenny Sharp will certainly draw comparisons to Mumford and The Lumineers and there isn’t anything wrong with that, but this track is far from derivative so it stands on its own just fine.
The addition of Micki Brayboy adds to the talent and gives the song another layer.”

Despite the cursing in every verse especially the hook the song makes you want to break down and dance. It does have a little kick back when the beat drops. The sound makes it seem like there is static or a speaker is broke.”

Her vocal range and emotive delivery is impressive and this song has a haunting quality that makes you want to give her a comforting hug afterward.”

That 30 mins - hour escape helps them but hurts their love ones. Dax and friends touch each point of view, excuse, and battle with this track. The fact that this is a 10 min song shows the power alcohol has in people lives.”
“The delivery is soft and Laila sounds so nice. However, the hook is where you are drawn in. Once you hear it it makes you want to pay more attention to the lyrics and how hurt she is. I think there should be more song writing added to it instead of the hook carrying the song.”
