“GRAMMY winner RITON returns with an energetic dancefloor banger that samples 50 Cents ‘Candy Shop’ and offers the vocal talents of rising Rap star Soaky Siren. The beat is infectious and the ‘Sugar’ oh so sweet on this EDM/Hip-Hop blending vibe.
A track sure to get listeners moving and singing along by the first chorus, no matter how you want to categorize this genre being single.”
“Sometimes a track hooks you with its brazen energy and catchy musical hook. That happened for me here. Lyrically, I did crave a bit more, but the vocal talent and vibe of the track refused to let me stop listening. The ending was a bit abrupt though I definitely will be playing this track when I need a bouncy pick me up to put a smile on my face. ”
“A big, bold soaring number with an epic feel. Eneli delivers it in a vocal tone that reminded me of Miley Cyrus at times. This track is theatrical and hits like a romance taken a dark and emotional turn, but is deep and stubborn enough to survive even the rough times.
A sweeping track that delivers an emotional gut punch.”
“Anastasia Elliot is a vocal powerhouse that at times reminds me of P!nk blended with Brandi Carlile. And ‘Bones’ is the kind of soaring track that you can’t turn away from or shake from your head afterward. Like a musical hammer the staccato cadence of Elliot’s delivery bangs home the message with both precision and force. ”
“This track from Nekter Gun starts low key before building into a dynamic and powerful EDM track. The lyrical build is emotional and engaging and the production behind it matches the vibe making this a well rounded track you can move to and dig in deep on at the same time. Detailing the emotions of finally calling it quits on an an again/off again relationship, the track rings genuine and true. ”
“In and out of love. These kinds of tumultuous relationships often lead tp frustration and Talker takes on that dynamic with the single, ‘Don’t Want You To Love Me.’
This remix, created by Oceanator, dials in on the conflicting emotion such a relationship creates and the track comes away with a mixed set or sounds and vibes as a result. Fitting given the mixed up emotions such a situation crates. ”
“The writing here and the message of these lyrics easily won me over. I do wish the track had a bit less production as the Autotune got in the way at times, but Ben Barbic overcomes that with his passionate delivery.
The track straddles a Hip Hop, Dancehall Reggae vibe and kept me leaning in for the entire ride.”
“Sydney based producer, ZUSO teams up with the vocal talent of LA’s Jaki Nelson for this after hours vibe that wraps around the listener like a firm hug. A track that simply feels right and comfortable, ‘Take Me’ is sort of tranquil and calm, yet still uplifting.
The production is spot on and the vocals sync perfectly to create the exact track you need after a long night of being on the dancefloor.
Call it a coming down song if you will but don’t dismiss this one as an afterthought, as it certainly has strong legs of its own.”
“Riding an almost sarcastic lyrical build, SUNKIN delivers this track with a subtle energy that sells the vibe and sentiments quite well. Each listen I gave the track unleashed new little lyrical gems and the wry delivery captivated me as well.
An Indie Rock gem that spoke to me louder with each replay. The chorus stuck in my head and I found myself signing along throughout the day which made me eager to give the track another listen.”
“Starting tranquil and almost serene, Only Bricks pulls the trigger about forty-five seconds in, and ‘Bang! Bang!’ the track explodes. The vibe goes back and forth keeping the listener on edge for what’s coming next, creating a danceable track with legs of its own.
The talent shines and fortunately the track delivers an arrangement that feels as unique as it does artful. ”
“A painful heartfelt ode to the end. In this case it was a friendship that abruptly ended via text without much of an explanation. But the emotions are the same for any relationship, and here, Courtney Govan offers them up in singer/songwriter perfection.
The track feels a touch theatrical at times, but never at the sacrifice of the emotional pain that is tangible from the first note of this soaring number.”
“Pop with attitude has dominated lately especially from the talented female artists dominating the charts. To that end, Ceara Cavalieri has joined the fray with ‘Bad Thing,’ a track that is easy to sing along with and chant like a mantra for anyone looking to draw lines in the sand.
Lyrically, I did want a bit more but I could not deny the infectious beat and chorus so being left wanting more here was far from a dealbreaker for me.”
“The intro hit me with Rihanna, ‘We Found Love’ vibes though once Savage334 dropped in with that deliberate and direct flow, the track stood all on its own.
Lyrically, the blows land with emotion and grit and the build kept me leaning in for every last word.
’Diamonds’ unleashes its meaning and intent rather with a clear sparkle, though the nuances and inflections make it a track you can listen to over and over again and still discover new emotions along the way. ”
“A smooth and easy groove combines with a steady rhythm to keep this track moving with ease and grace. The vocal talent is silky and tender, and instills a nice romantic vibe.
Lyrically, I did crave a bit more, but even with that, this is a track I could listen to for years to come. An apt mood setter, and affirmation of the idea that everything feels right when you are secure and stable in your love.”
“Frank Dennis drops this moody and brooding flow that sets a melancholic tone right from the start. The writing is sharp, and the lines land with a deliberate flow that sights in its targets, and hits the mark with emotional punch. I like the stripped down value as it allows the intent to land unimpeded. ”
“Ricky Davaine drops this in your face yet melodic groove that tell it like it is. ‘Metamorphosis’ is about recognizing the user and abuser and takers of the worlds and changing to protect yourself and your future.
The lyrical flow is dead on and the tone works well for the message being delivered. The track does a good job of straddling a coupe different vibes and gene lines and in doing so creates its own brand of sound. ”
“Ava Della Pietra has the kind of talent that immediately commands your attention. Of course her stellar vocals are not Ava’s only talent, as this Broadway actress is no stranger to the spotlight. The theatrical influence does come through in her vocal style, though not at the sacrifice of the Indie Pop vibe that also conjures thoughts of Taylor Swift at times.
’Happy For You’ is an emotional journey well worth taking. ”
“Bright Kelly offers up an emotive Indi Folk track that has hints of Springsteen, John Prine, and a more obscure but equally talented Tom Russell. ‘Shake Til the Fever is Gone’ is not the kind of Commercial track we generally feature but is the kind of song that is honest and genuine and speak to the heart. A songwriter’s ode to acceptance I guess you might say, the track is one that delivers on its emotions with purpose. ”
“Jake Knox gives us a rocking Ska track about climbing out of the pits of despair. We all get in those low mental spots and how we respond can not only determine our future trajectory but can shorten or lengthen these buts of despair. This is the kind of track that reminds we are not alone in an entertaining fashion and can help us to pick up and move on when we need to. Knox describes it as ‘the most personal song he’s ever written’ and in that passion, listeners will find their own relevance. ”
“The Collection brings a fresh new approach to the world of love songs. ‘Love at the End of the World’ is about finding love in a world that is falling apart and how we all need to keep living as best we can in the face of conflict and turmoil. The emotive vocals hooked me the writing is smart and intelligent while maintaining an emotional relevance.”
